New Date & LocationThe 2017 edition of Interior Lifestyle China will be brought forward to mid-September according to the peak buying season of China's home and lifestyle industry in order to maximise industry synergies for more and broader business opportunities. By moving to Shanghai Exhibition Centre, the show will be presented in a more accessible location in the city centre with an ambience that matches the fair's lifestyle focus.

First established in 2015, the VIP Buyer Club is comprised of over 400 high-end buyers including upscale department stores, large scale retailers, wholesalers, importers and hotels. In the future it will recruit members from other sectors and provide more business opportunities for its members through cross-sector cooperation.

Road Shows

Interior Lifestyle China is reaching out to more retail channels (department stores, commercial real estate enterprises, next-generation supermarkets and traditional distributors) on the basis of its powerful resources to cover the major cities and cross-sector retailers in China. In 2016 Interior Lifestyle China organized five road shows respectively in Chengdu, Wuhan, Chongqing, Xi'an and Shanghai which attracted hundreds of professional buyers and dozens of partner associations from midwestern China.

2016 Interior Lifestyle China Theme

– Encounter the Beauty of Life

The theme was set to extend the concept of lifestyle to a wider

range by encouraging everyone to go out and encounter lifestyle

in restaurants, cafes and bars. The focus in 2016 was in particular

put on the topic of "Dining Out" to seize the business opportunities

brought by high growth in the catering market in China.

Theme Display [Culture meets Gourmet]

Several sections were introduced in the theme display combining

visual, multimedia experience in a cultural context. The relationship

between people and food was contextualised in the brightly

coloured display through table art, kitchen supplies, food books and

photography.

Tmall Global Celebration of Houseware

24 top international brands were

presented in cooperation with Tmall,

one of the biggest online retailers in China. The event featured

onsite shows and an all-day online webcast. As a new event where

online promotion is connected with offline interaction, and where

B2B is integrated with B2C, it helped to show aspects of the retail

development.

On Design Show

[You Look Delicious]

With the hot topic of food design nowadays, domestic and overseas

designers were invited to discuss tableware design, organic food

products and packaging display forms.

10th Anniversary Special — Display and Forum [The Way of Life]

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the show, Alan

Chan, Qu Guangci, Ben Wu and Zhong Song, four

top Chinese designers in their respective fields, were

invited to present a special exhibition, rediscovering

and reinterpreting, from their distinctive perspectives,

the interaction and integration of Eastern and Western

lifestyles, as well as the infinite possibilities of design

and life.
