GENERAL REGULATIONS TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS/GRANTS AND FINANCIAL AID:

› New students can only apply to one of the grants within the programme. You cannot combine grants; however, a discount for advanced annual payment can be applied. Payment must be made before the discount can be applied and then another discount may be applied.

› The online application must be filled out through Campus Virtual and include proof of payment to secure your place and all required documents for the grant in question (all additional documents must be handed in all at once).

› Each candidate must renew their grant for the following years as long as they comply with the renewal requirements.

› Each grant has its own deadline. The candidate must be very careful and pay attention to such deadline in the application forms (no application will be reviewed if it is handed in after the deadline).

› If the grant has been awarded, all communication will be private and through our Virtual Campus according to our deadlines.

› ESIC Business and Marketing School has a limited number of grants and aids so we reserve the right to the allotment of them.

› The percentage of the grant, according to the type of grant, will be applied on the cost of tuition not for official registration fees nor for the reservation of the place.

› In campuses where there is extended tuition, the grant will be applied exclusively to the first enrollment fee.

New students can apply for grants and financial aid in the “Grant and Financial Aid Programme for the student”, once they have been admitted and reserved their place in ESIC Business and Marketing School.

Those candidates interested in any of the grants must apply through our Virtual Campus www.esic.edu/campus.

It is important for the candidate to have all documents scanned to upload as pdf or jpg.

PROCEDURES AND DEADLINES

*A refund for the deposit will be done only to those candidates who did not finish high school or similar, or did not successfully pass the standardized admissions test. For applicants outside the EU, same policy applies or if the Spanish embassy does not grant a visa.

REQUIREMENTS › Candidates must have successfully applied and been admitted to ESIC Business and Marketing School and have secured their place by June 30.

› Must be a high school or similar student or have finished within 2 years of the application.

› Candidates with a GPA of 7.5 or higher during their last 2 years of school will be granted 15% grant and those students with GPA of 8.5 or higher, will be awarded 20%

› Candidates with grades in IB between 33 and 36 including, will be awarded 15% and those between 37 and 45 will be awarded 20%.

› In the case the household income is less than €40,000, an additional 10% will be granted.

› Cannot receive any other scholarship.

The aim of this scholarship is to promote excellence. These grants allow students with great potential and motivation to pursue their degree in any area of interest offered at ESIC and they can do so regardless of their economic situation.

It is aimed at high school students or similar, and International Baccalaureate that start year 1 of any of the degrees offered at ESIC. The grant will be applied to the percentage of the tuition. New students need to comply with the following requirement.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

› REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:• 1st and 2nd year high school transcripts, IB diploma or similar.

• If candidates fall within the 5 requirement points, the last 2 Tax statements as well as a current proof of asset must be signed by parents or legal guardians.

› WHERE TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS• All documents are uploaded through our Campus Virtual www.esic.edu/campu. These documents are

uploaded all at once along with the reservation proof of payment

› DEADLINE • June 30, 2019.

› DECISION• July 15. Students awarded will receive an official communication from Students’ Services Office.

• ESIC Business and Marketing School has a limited number of scholarships and aids so we reserve the right to the allotment of them.

› RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS• In order to renew your scholarship, the candidate should have a GPA of 8.0 minimum and have passed all

subjects studied throughout the year.

• In case of the additional grant of 10%, Tax statement and current proof of assets must be presented.

• The renewal must be done by the student within the deadline established.

In case you do not complete your last year of high school or do not pass the standardized admissions test, a full refund will be given. For students who hold an IB diploma, a Spanish access to university document must be presented, Acreditacion UNED Definitiva, within the deadline. In all other campuses, this is mandatory documentation to be presented within the deadline. › If the candidate lives in Canary or Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, they will be granted a 20% discount.

› Reside in a province different to where the campus of study is.

› As places are limited, a signed proof must be presented

› Cannot receive any other scholarship from ESIC.

This scholarship is aimed at students who do not reside in the same province as the university campus.

It is aimed at high school students or similar, and International Baccalaureate that start year 1 of any of the degrees offered at ESIC. The scholarship will be applied to the percentage of the tuition. New students need to comply with the following requirements:

GRANT FOR OUT OF TOWN STUDENTS

› DOCUMENTS:• Proof of residence of each household member dated the year of entry.

• Proof of having reserved their place.

› WHERE TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS• All documents are uploaded through our Campus Virtual www.esic.edu/campu. These documents

are uploaded all at once along with the reservation proof of payment .

› DEADLINE • May 31, 2019.

› DECISION• In June, Students awarded will receive an official communication from Students’ Services Office.

• Renewal communication will be through Campus Virtual under Gestion de Becas (Grant Management).

› Each sibling must hand in an application

› A 30% scholarship will be applied to tuition cost to each sibling.

› If any if the siblings is not enrolled fulltime, the scholarship will be 10%


Students who have siblings already studying at ESIC or are going to start together will be eligible for a scholarship applied to tuition costs. The discount will be applied to both siblings as well as to those who enroll later.It is aimed at high school students or similar, and International Baccalaureate that start year 1 of any of the degrees offered at ESIC. The scholarship will be applied to the percentage of the tuition fees. New students need to comply with the following requirements:

SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDENTS WITH SIBLINGS STUDYING AT ESIC

› DOCUMENTS• Proof of having secured their place in the upcoming course

• Copy of ID of sibling enrolled

• Reservation payment



› DEADLINE• For new student and those already enrolled, documents should be handed in during registration.

› DECISION• As soon as all documents are submitted and evaluated


› RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS• The renewal must be done by the student within the deadline established, following the established

guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS › Candidates must successfully pass the admissions process of ESIC Business & Marketing School.

› Sibling or child of a member of the Alumni Association who has studied and finalized studies in ESIC, will obtain a 10% off tuition fees.

› Given that the scholarship fund is limited, it will be required to have specific justification of the candidate in writing.

› Not having any other grant or discount from ESIC.

It is aimed at high school students or similar, and International Baccalaureate that start year 1 of any of the degrees offered at ESIC. The grant will be applied to the percentage of the tuition fee. New students need to comply with the following requirements:

SCHOLARSHIP FOR ALUMNI, CHILDREN OF AND SIBLINGS

› DOCUMENTS:• Copy of ID/passport of candidate and alumni

• Proof of degree awarded by ESIC

• Proof of having secured their place

• Proof of payment Alumni association.



› DEADLINE• For new students and renewals, during registration period.

› DECISION• As soon as all documents are submitted and evaluated .


› RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS• The renewal must be done by the student within the deadline established, following the

established guidelines.

› Be eligible to be considered part of large family

› Cannot receive any other grant from ESIC.

This scholarship is for new students who come from large families. After completing the application and having presented all documents, they will be granted a 10% discount on tuition fees.

GRANT FOR LARGE FAMILIES

› DOCUMENTS:• Copy of ID/passport.

• Proof of large family.

• Proof of having secured their place.




› DECISION• As soon as all documents are submitted and evaluated

• Renewal communication will be through Campus Virtual under Gestión de Becas (Grant management).

› RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS• The renewal must be done by the student within the deadline established, following the

established guidelines.

› Have a certified disability of 33% or above, the grant awarded will be 30% off tuition fees.

› Due to the fact that funds are limited, a certified note showing level of disability must be handed in.

› Cannot receive any other grant from ESIC.

It is aimed at high school students or similar, and International Baccalaureate that start year 1 of any of the degrees offered at ESIC. The grant will be applied to the percentage of the tuition fee. New students need to comply with the following requirements:

DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

› DOCUMENTS:• Copy of ID/passport

• Current disability report.

› WHERE TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS • All documents are uploaded through our Campus Virtual www.esic.edu/campu. These documents



› DECISION• Communication will be made on an individual basis by the Diversity Committee in September.

• Renewal communication will be through Campus Virtual under Gestion de Becas (Grant management).

› RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS• The student must have passed 75% of subjects taken throughout the year. If this target is not reached, the

Diversity Committee will review each case individually.

• The renewal must be done by the student within the deadline established, following the established guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS• Candidates must have successfully completed the admissions process at ESIC Business and Marketing School.

• Must not be a new student.

• Present proof of financial need caused by family (or personal) circumstances which arise during their studies.

• Cannot receive any other grant from ESIC.

The study grant is aimed at those who have economic difficulties caused by family or personal issues which arise during their studies. This aid is not given at the beginning of their studies but granted for those unforeseen circumstances that will encourage the student not to give up their studies. The study grant could be up to 20% off the tuitions fees.ESIC Business and Marketing School has a limited number of grants and aids so we reserve the right to the allotment of them.

STUDY GRANT

› DOCUMENTS• Letter of petition

• Copy of most recent tax return of both parents/guardians or if self-employed most recent VAT return.

• Current proof of assets from both parents or guardians must be presented.

• All relevant documentation that may complement request, for example, wage slips, unemployment benefit card, parent disability, etc..

› WHERE TO SUBMIT DOCUMENTS

• All documents are uploaded at once through our Campus Virtual www.esic.edu/campu.


› DECISION• Communication will be made on an individual basis by ESIC in September.

In our desire to provide our students with the best training possible we also offer a service for their personal and professional wellbeing. For this reason, all undergraduate students avail of an INSURANCE POLICY FOR STUDY CONTINUITY.

This INSURANCE policy is designed to cover the costs of studying at ESIC in the case of bereavement or permanent disability of the person who pays for the studies (father, mother, legal guardian, person assigned by student).

This Insurance Policy (with no additional cost) is renewed annually and comes into effect by filling in the enrollment form.
