Project, Training & Technical Competencies An Investigation on Hepatoprotective Activity of Liv. Plus, an herbal formulation, against Paracetamol and Alcohol induced Liver Injury; August 2009 to May 2010Worked for one year on the sponsored project titled “An Investigation on Hepatoprotective Activity of Liv. Plus, an herbal formulation, against Paracetamol and Alcohol induced Liver Injury” from Ayurlab Herbal Pvt. Ltd., Panchmahal Gujarat to Institute for Post-Graduate Teaching & Research for Hepatoprotective Activity of formulation.The study was carried out on the sponsored drug by using toxicants namely Paracetamol & Alcohol. The study included development with standardizing the Paracetamol & Alcohol experimental pharmacological models. Laboratory work related to studies and data analysis includes the parameters like ponderal changes, biochemical changes, tissues-biochemical changes and histopathological studies. The biometry analysis was carried out of the data. Based on the analysis, final inferences were drawn and submitted to sponsor. Microscopic Evaluation of given Herbal Drugs; April 2008 to July 2008Worked on the comparative study of Herbal Drugs and matching the actual value of its contents. The study was carried out by optical microscopy method at 100X. National Institute of Animal Welfare, Faridabad Participated in training which include animal handling of experimental animals required for the Clinical trial and practice involved in Research and Development.
