New Faculty Program
Fall 2018 Schedule The New Faculty Program (NFP) provides a host of professional development opportunities for pre-tenure faculty at the University of Minnesota. Many sessions are on the Twin Cities campus while others can be accessed online. The programs focus on teaching, research, public engagement, career advancement/leadership, and holistic faculty development. Remember to sign up for your free membership in the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD) to access their many programs and services listed below. Registration for NFP and program completion forms are found on the NFP website. Each event/program is assigned a value (NFP unit)that can be used toward receiving a letter of recognition from the Vice Provost for Faculty and Academic Affairs. A total of eight (8) NFP units is required to receive VPFAA recognition.
