Traditional Ship Management

is a tradition of questionable

cost and time delays to most

ship owners.

This evolved for so many

years now and ship managers

don’t want to embrace a par-

adigm shift to the new era in

ship management.

Look now in our ailing domes-

tic shipping processes. After

2 yearly mandatory dry-

docking of any vessel, moni-

toring of every maintenance

based on equipments mak-

er’s manual is not a priority

to ship managers as they

tend to be re-active always

rather than being pro-active.

That resulted to so many de-

lays and cost accumulation

due to unwanted off-hires in

between charter periods.

Risk assessment must be an-

other key aspect in best ship

management approach.

Stratosphere new approach

following our KPI is to board

your vessel six(6) months

prior to every dry-docking

schedule . All dry-docking

indent lists from ship manag-

er that was coordinated with

vessel’s Classification will be

discussed and assessed by

Stratosphere which are those

items that can be dealt with

and managed prior to the

dry-docking. This will limit the

works and time in ship yard

due most of the items are

already done by Strato-

sphere. Only bottom hull

maintenance will likely to be

performed in ship yard.

Further, prior to ship’s depar-

ture in ship yard, an electron-

ic Plan Maintenance System

(based on every equipments

maker’s manual) will be in-

stalled on board for on time

monitoring of ship owner,

and ship manager. Our flying

technician is always ready to

support the vessel anytime

needed.

New Era in Ship Management

Stratosphere Partners make

the Group more stable in

vider from real time scenario

of giving accurate solution in

any machinery breakdown.

Stratosphere will be your pro-

active approach partner in

every mitigation of on board

problems and conducting risk

assessment prior to every

MISSION

We, in SSGi are working within an effective

time. We know our minimum and maxi-

mum capacity and we will never exceed

those limits. That is where we put the safe-

ty of all our partners, investors and share-

holders.

VISION

Our existence will depend on how we

use our strength to steer us towards

SSGi ship management structure is well established

basing in wide array of experiences of all Managers

and Staff on board different types of vessels in in-

ternational shipping trade.

SSGi Document of Compliance shows that we can

manage Passenger Vessels, Oil Tankers, LPG Carri-

ers and Other Types of Cargo Vessels.

The Company is now in the process of securing ISO

9001-2015 from BVQi and as well as the SMC of all

vessels to be owned and operated by the Company.

This will make all SSGI vessels classed under an

IACS member.

This will become a reminder and same time a

deterrent to all crew to observed maintenance

regime by heart.

With this idea, SSGi developed the first ever Fili-

pino made Planned Maintenance System for all

types of vessels. This can be installed to MARINA

and DOTR if they wish to monitor all vessels all

over the domestic trade who are managing their

vessels safely, promptly and efficiently.

Plan Maintenance System

Page 6 Volume 1, I ssue 1

The life span of any vessel depends fully in the proper

and accurate maintenance regime on board by dedi-

cated crew. However, due to time element on board,

movements of vessels, bad weather there must be a

system that reminds constantly and continuously all

crew in line with planned maintenance interval and

procedures based in every equipment manuals.

The maintenance done daily, weekly, monthly, 3

monthly, 6 monthly, annually must be reported on

time to the shore base management without any de-

lays and maintenance that was not performed will be

seen by the office and reports are being sent automati-

cally every week to the management side for proper

action and deliberation why a planned maintenance

was not done on time.

Chartering

Page 8 Volume 1, I ssue 1

SSGi as your charterers are directly responsible for

keeping your shipping fleet in business.

While some Charterers own ships themselves, either

on a leased or permanent basis, most charterers regu-

larly hire ships, or space on ships, to move their goods,

products and even passengers. Ship Charterers either

liaise with intermediaries, known as Ship Brokers, or

directly with ship owners to arrange the hire or charter

of ships to get those cargoes to their clients by the

most cost-effective and timely means. Ship Charterers

therefore need to be in touch with the market to find

the most suitable and cost effective transport options.

No matter how old your fleet of vessels are, SSGi will

help you maintain the good condition of your vessel

though being your charterer same time. We believed

that helping ship owner managed their vessels safely

and same time find cargo for all their vessels promptly

and efficiently we will be able to have a long term

partnership.

The charter party is a legal contract of employing a

vessel. In shipping matters, it is a highly important doc-

ument since it allocates obligations, rights, duties, lia-

bilities, risks, earnings, costs and profits between the

contracted parties, namely, the ship owner and the

charterer.
