Sports Officiating
• This course is in line with our initiative to create courses that allow students opportunities to apply learned skills and gain employment.
• Students will have the opportunity to take the exam to become an IHSA official.
• In agreement with the DG park district, students will have the opportunity to officiate in rec leagues and be paid for their time.

Internship
• This program partners students, school, and the community helping students to identify and evaluate various career pathways.
• Students will intern an average of 4 hours per week (outside of the school day) and meet weekly with the teacher.
• Students will gain an understanding of how the career/job functions and participate in career exploration and learning experiences at the internship site.
Preparation for Quantitative Literacy
