2. Create original animations or videos documenting school, community, or local events. (1,2,6)

♣ It would be fun to have my students make a video documenting an event they attend in the Spanish speaking community to show in a presentation in class.

♣ It would also be fun for the students to film themselves acting out a Spanish soap opera to insert at the end of a powerpoint presentation.

4. Participate in a cooperative learning project in an online learning community. (2)

♣ My class can use delicious.com during research projects so that they can find additional useable sources from their peers book marks.

♣ We could also have a class blog where the students can get information about the class, find helpful links and see new posts from myself and other class members.

5. Evaluate digital resources to determine the credibility of the author and publisher and the timeliness and accuracy of the content. (3)

♣ I can teach my class methods of evaluating online resources and have them go online to find some examples of credible online sources and also some sources that may not be credible.

♣ They can discuss how they knew certain sites may not be credible and do little bit of research on the authors and content of the sites they choose.

9. Integrate a variety of file types to create and illustrate a document or presentation. (1,6)

♣ My students can use a variety of file types to create a PowerPoint presentation including pictures, videos, text and music files.

♣ They can also use text and pictures to create a newsletter about themselves.

♣ They could also make a presentation by video to show the class.
