What we offer at Thayer Central
Currently we offer a one-year course of Computer Coding.
Next year we plan to offer a Beginning Computer Programming for the first semester and an Advanced Computer Programming for the second semester.

How the course is currently organized
We start with writing programs for their TI-84 calculators● Quadratic Formula● Distance Formula● Midpoint Formula● Slope● Binomial Probability

Some Additional Activities● Peanut Butter and Jelly Activity● We also do some Base 2 and Base 16 math● Hour of Code and Code.org Activites● Khan Academy

What Language to Use?
We use Visual Basic from Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Professional
We did a few activities using Python this semester as well
