Autobiography of Mrs. Chatta Neeladevi

I believe that every teacher is a learner, too. Every teacher/learner has a peculiar teaching/learning strategy. It is very important that the teacher makes note of different learning strategies by diagnosing students through observation which will enable the teacher to use appropriate teaching strategies along with personal attention in achieving the mutual goals. The main goal of my teaching is “motivating and contextualizing” and making “complicated subject like Grammar into interactive, interesting and entertaining learning approach”. My innovative method includes audios (conversation/music), videos (contextual and comprehensive clips) which make them not only enthusiastic but also interested in learning further. I integrate all the skills (Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking) together through a simple tool called “motivation and contextualizing” in conjunction with “topics of interest”. I contextualize the students’ interests with my expertise in combining different regional, cultural, religious and traditional aspects which will enhance their language learning with cultural awareness. One of my creative approach is interacting with my students through emails, Facebook, Skype and other messengers (free of cost) to correct their mistakes instantly while improving their writing and speaking skills during the leisure time. This creative process helps them in building their self-confidence and successfully achieving their learning goals.

I have wide range of academic interests and expertise in Languages, Arts and Sciences. I enjoy teaching English language while adopting classical and modern music into language
