All souls are related and part of one supreme soul. Thus, by helping others in distress will, in reality, one help oneself and will have an additional going of gratitude, love and blessing. Your gesture of kindness for fellow
humans by way of small contribution from any part of the earth will bring cheers to many in distress and will be the prime source for upliftment of downtrodden class of the society.
NEDRO started Dev sishu Bhawan in Samali, Nahazari, South 24 Parganas West Bengal, in December 2012. Devsishu
Home shelters 40 boys in the age group of 4 to 15 years. These abandoned orphan, street children are belongs to
different family backgrounds like father died with HIV/AIDS and mother committed suicide, father is drunken and
mother left children & living with other person, both parents died due to personal reasons. In this critical juncture we
identify and bring the children to our Children Home. We think that if some one not cares about these unfortunate
children at his situation they may become anti-social elements in the society. That is why we strictly follow & give
importance to keep them in good shelter, provide education support, counseling and motivation about career, extra
curricular activities, sports and games. If you wish to sponsor these abandoned orphan children for their education, food
sponsorship you are welcome. If you are not in Kurnool Town, you can send your known people to Our Children Home
to spend time with the Orphan Children. Children also feel that some one is caring about our future and feel happy.
Target Segments of children:
abandoned children
children whose both parents are dead and no relative can provide for them
children who take to rag-picking, begging
Devsishu Home Orphanage staff includes one warden, a teacher, a vocational instructor, a cook, an attendant, and a
watchman. A doctor has been appointed as Center Medical Officer to conduct health check-up and treat the sick.
Every child who enters this Home is given Counseling by a professional counselor. This process will identify the
underlying problems of the child and help her to transform negative attitudes, overcome depression and develop positive
outlook towards life.
The children are provided accommodation, food, schooling, healthcare, clothes and recreation facilities. They have been
admitted to Samali Bochberia LP school & Samali High School, next to Collectorate Complex, A.Camp, Kurnool and
are progressing well in studies.
We have been running the Orphanage solely through donations. Our monthly expenditure on rent, operations, education
is Rs.75000/- We can keep Devsishu Home running only through sponsorship of caring people like you. Imagine being
the benefactor of a child by sponsoring all expenses, and witness the child achieving its dreams. We encourage active
sponsorship by arranging periodic meetings between the donor and sponsored child, and sending regular updates on the
progress made in school and co-curricular activities.
Donors are free to contribute any amount as desired, which will be utilized for the running of orphanage. You can
celebrate your special day with the children, sponsor health care or sponsor annual expenses for a specific child. Profiles
of these children and other donation options are available in the menu on right side.
Thank you for supporting our noble cause and being part of Pailan Milan Mandir Society family. Without your generous
support it is very difficult to reach our goals towards abandoned orphan children.
NEDRO is an NGO which works for disadvantaged old age people in West Bengal, India. We reach out to destitute elderly people and help them to overcome poverty; we rescue the very old and very young people, who are the most vulnerable.
Why do we focus on old people? • India has around 100 million people over 60 years of age and the number is estimated to reach 323 million. • Around 33 per cent of the elderly live alone or with spouse only. • 70 per cent of the elderly population is illiterate • 90 per cent work for livelihood • Elders have to grapple with financial insecurity, morbidity, loneliness, vulnerability, physical weakness, social isolation and powerlessness • Grandparents care for around half of orphaned children
OLDER PEOPLE'S PROBLEMS ARE THE PROBLEMS OF US ALL Marginalization Of the various problems that commonly afflict older people today, one—perhaps more than any other—injures the dignity of the person: marginalization. The development of this problem, a relatively recent one, has found a fertile breeding ground in a society that cultivates nothing but material success and the glossy image of perennial youth, to the virtual exclusion of those who no longer possess these requisites. The factors that conspire to consign many older people to the fringes of the human community and civil life are many: evasion of responsibility at the institutional level and consequent social inadequacies; poverty or a drastic reduction of income and of the necessary financial resources to secure a decent standard of living and appropriate levels of care; and the progressive removal of older people from their own family and social environment. The most painful dimension of this marginalization, however, is the lack of human relations. Older people suffer not only by being deprived of human contact, but also from abandonment, loneliness and isolation. And as their interpersonal and social contacts are diminished, so their lives are correspondingly impoverished; they are deprived of the intellectual and cultural stimulus and enrichment they need. Older people experience a sense of impotence at being unable to change their own situation, due to their inability to participate in the decision-making processes that concern them both as persons and as citizens. The net result is that they lose any sense of belonging to the community of which they are members. The problem concerns everyone. It concerns the whole of society. And it is society, at its various institutional levels, that needs to intervene to ensure effective protection, including juridical protection, for that not negligible part of the population that lives in a situation of extreme social, economic and cultural deprivation.
How your support will change life of an Elder You can choose to sponsor an old person for one month or one year. Your donation will give one elder essential
rations or basic necessities such as warm clothes and blanket. You can sponsor mid-day meals for poor old people You can volunteer in any our programs
All souls are related and part of one supreme soul. Thus, by helping others in
distress will, in reality, one help one self and will have an additional going of
gratitude, love and blessing. Your gesture of kindness for fellow humans by way of
small contribution from any part of the earth will bring cheers to many in distre ss
and will be the prime source for upliftment of downtrodden class of the society.
In areas served by NEDRO, most of the disadvantaged women work as domestic help, agricultural laborers,
and as maids in schools, hospitals, shops and establishments. Women working on farms face uncertain and
seasonal employment. Due to lack of skills and education and irregular income generation activities, they
remain below poverty line.
Since 20011 we have been organizing vocational skill development training programs in various trades like
fashion designing, tailoring & embroidery, Zari Zardosi work, soft toys making, making bamboo articles, for
the empowerment of women through sustainable livelihoods. NEDRO is conducting these women
development programs inSouth 24 Parganas District of West Bengals. So far, about 650 women have been
trained : about 115 of them became self employed by taking loans from Banks and other women got jobs in
garment industries. We have 15 women working as trainers to conduct training.
After completion of vocational skills course, we provide assistance for establishment of their own business and
job placement services.

Ever since the enactment of Act V of 1861, whereby the
police system of British India got streamlined, there
were proposals at regular intervals to form a specialized
detective wing. However it was not till the Police
Commission of 1902-03, which finally recommended
the formation of a Criminal Investigation Department for
each of the provinces that the concept was seriously
examined.
It was recommended that a Criminal Investigation
Department, (CID) should be constituted in each
province under a Deputy Inspector General of Police for
the purpose of collating and distributing information
regarding organized crimes. It would also be in charge of
Railway Police and the Finger Print Bureau, which was
earlier under the Secretariat Police officer. The CID
would also undertake the investigation of specialized
crimes that require technical expertise. Finally on 21
March 1905 the Government of India accepted the
proposal of the Commission and issued instructions to
start the department in every province by 1907.
Presently in Assam, as we know the situation, both
political & crime i.e. LAND MAFIA PRESSUREISING
CASE, ILLEGALE ARMS & BLACK MONEY CASE,
FORCED PROSTITUTION CASE, BLACK MAILING
CASE, FRAUD CASE, MURDER CASE, MISSING
PERSONS, SUICIDE CASE AND MISSING
VEHICLE, etc. is running parallely.
The time has been arrived to do something for clean &
disciplined atmosphere is done by someone. Considering
the said facts and matters we the Crime Prevention
Council (CPS) will be acting in kind guidance with
Hon’ble, DIG (CBI) and DIG (CID) to build and better
future came into existence on 1st April 2012.
There are 39 species of snails usually found in
our region. Out of these 9 species are edible,
there are two types of snails one is egg layers
and another one baby given birth by mother
snail. We are to cultivate the most popularly
accepted by consumers of North East India
and highest production.
One mother snail gives birth of 346 baby snail in
a month. Say 300 babies and is 300 times
multiplies in a month and to be matured it
takes 3-4 months. So one KG snails produce 300
KG’s snail in three months. 10 KG’s seeds can
produce 3000 KG’s of snails monthly at three
month of gapes. The value of 10 KG’s of snails
can gives income 3000x25 = Rs. 75,000/- in 3
months in 1.5 Bigha of pond.
Most important factor of the snails is that it has
more food value than any fish. It can protect
17th diseases of human body like asthma, eye
problem, cyst, bone pain etc.
Details report & information of this firming and
bye back information are available with our
office personals or contact person. So, snail
cultivation will provide a good income to the
rural poor and continuously get sustainable
income to the beneficiaries. This process is
scientifically proved and much more research is
being done in our Assam office HQ and in due
course of time the same shall b published.
