Molly Q gives a comprehensive look at the water cycle for Elementary school student, while introducing environmental awareness

Near the North Pole Molly Q, a water drop lay frozen in a giant glacier for hundreds of years.

One day as her frozen field crept slowly south, a chunk of ice splashed into the ocean with a thunderous crash. Suddenly Molly Q was carried away.

The bright sun melted the large lump of ice as she floated along. Molly Q soon slipped into the salty sea.

Molly Q passed many fantastic fish as she swirled along in the southern current. She also passed oodles of odd objects.

Do these items belong In the ocean?

After traveling a great distance, a large wave washed her ashore. She landed next to a cranky crab caught in some gooey gum.

The sun beat down upon the sandy shore. Soon Molly Q became light and floated into the sky.

Joining a cloud climbing higher and higher. More water joined her and the cloud became heavy.

In time the cloud burst into a rain shower. Molly Q fell from the sky just as the sun appeared.

Landing on a soft leaf with a “plop”, she slid by a colorful caterpillar.

Molly Q wiggled through the damp dirt, squeezing between the rocks below.

With a “ker-plunk”, she landed in a rocky underground waterway. She traveled a long way through the deep dark holes I the rock until she was sucked up into the roots of an old oak tree.

Molly Q traveled up through the trunk, moving minerals to the mighty oak’s leaves.

It was a hot dry day. Molly Q cooled the leaf as she

traveled through to the shiny surface.
