If you are the MVP Main Contact and would like to change your main contact to another staff member or report a problem with MVP, contact Brenda Schell: [email protected] Please share this document with staff members who are responsible for entering information into the MVP portion of the NDHSAA website. All schools should have completed the following:

All MVP Accounts should already be created: o Superintendents, principals, athletic directors, administrative staff, coaches, activity advisors and

other staff you would like listed on the NDHSAA website and in the member school directory should have MVP accounts with correct email addresses. MVP accounts are how coaches and advisors are assigned to teams.

o One MVP account per person only. Duplicate accounts will be deleted. Users may have several roles in their MVP account.

o MVP Accounts are NOT the same as online testing accounts. Coaches and officials will need to create an online testing profile through the links on the NDHSAA website in order to take the required sport exams. If online testing accounts were created for fall 2008 sports, the same account should be used.

o Assistant coaches should have MVP accounts to be listed on programs. School profile information should be updated in MVP including:

o Main Contact, Contact Information, Mascot & Colors, Membership (indicate in what sports and activities your school participates including choosing correct coop names from drop down coop list.

o NOTE: All schools in coop must have the SAME coop chosen from the drop down list. Season Specific Information should be added to MVP

o Rosters for fall sports should be complete on MVP. o Pictures and cut-lines for fall sports should be uploaded to MVP. o Schedules for fall sports should be added to MVP.

Results for fall sports should be reported through MVP. Schedules for winter and spring sports may be added through MVP at anytime.

The NDHSAA Board of Directors approved a change in coop names at their September meeting. o NDHSAA will re-design cooperative sponsorship application to include one form that must be signed

by all participating schools. o Set parameters for new coops

Coops must have the same coop name for all activities among same schools Coop should not include mascot name. Cannot have only nickname as a coop name as name alone is not descriptive enough. Can’t be just letters: If a coop exists between two schools and a third school is added, the first two schools

names must remain the same. It is up to the discretion of the participating schools whether they want to append the coop name to include the new school.

Schools may be added to existing coops with no change of coop name. Schools will identify the host school for each sport/activity on the NDHSAA website.

o Set parameters for established coops Multiple coops between the same schools must have same name. Clean up existing coops removing duplicate/similar coop names For schools with similar names, one will be chosen based on NDHSAA records. NDHSAA will use coop name of record as the coop name unless changed. If changed, must

have agreement of all schools and school boards involved in the coop and NDHSAA Board approval.

Schools will identify the host school for each sport/activity on the NDHSAA website.

Everything schools have entered into MVP is now on the public side of our website. o Go to www.ndhsaa.com

Click on Member Schools • Find your school

o Click on a sport or activity Something missing? Make corrections, edits and additions in MVP.
