It’s time for holiday celebrations and cre- ating powerful business plans for 2013. Your NAWBO-CA Board has been working hard behind the scenes to launch an effective board training education program through our new Education Foundation while also planning an exciting Women’s Business Conference March 18 and 19 of 2013: Propel Your Business 2013. The event will be held in Sacramento again, but get ready for a different kind of business conference! This year isn’t just about Public Policy (although that is extremely important and will encompass day two). This year our Women’s Business Conference will include pow- erful New York Times bestselling authors, multi-million dollar women business owners, power networking across the state, business matchmaking and more. I promise you that our Women’s Business Conference will reflect our new mission: National Association of Women Business Owners California empowers and strengthens our chap- ters and all California women business owners to lead and propel the California economy. Are you ready to hear more? Great, because we have exciting ways for you to be involved! In addition to attending, if you would like to have an exhibitor table at the event, you can do so for just $500.00. We are expect- ing hundreds of women business owners at this event, so it will be a great opportunity for you to showcase your business. (Note: We have limited spaces available, so if you are interested, email Sandy ASAP to grab your table! Email: [email protected]) Day two will be focused on Public Policy and we will even invite our legislators for lunch! We want to be up close and personal with them so we can develop a rela- tionship and be able to reach out on behalf of our chap- ters when we need to. Finally, this Women’s Business Conference will keep NAWBO-CA’s four goals in mind that we set during strategic planning: 1. Public Policy: How can we expand our voice in Sacramento to ensure that we are not only being heard, but also that we are changing public policy for California businesses? 2. Membership: How can we support our chapter lead- ers so they can easily grow their membership—and even double our membership in California? 3. Doing Business: How can we not only encourage NAWBO-CA members to do business with each other, but also measure that impact? 4. Education: How do we best deliver board training and other education to our chapter leaders so they can feel pre- pared to handle the challenges they face? From there, how do we expand our role in NAWBO-CA Education and add additional programs that will have a solid impact on our NAWBO-CA members’ business growth? We invite you to join us for this powerful day! Please reach out to other women business owners who might not yet be members because we have a very special offer for them. Thank you for your faith and belief in me and please know that NAWBO-CA is here to serve you!
