Hi, my name is Paula Andrea Agredo Santa of 5C, and this is my virtual booklet about our natural resources, I hope you like it and please help us to take care of our natural resources!!!!!

The purpose of making this virtual booklet is to learn more about each type of natural resource, It is definition and what is a natural resource.

QuotesQuotes• Children are most value natural resouces!• Intelligence is the unlimited natural resource.• Only after the last tree has been cut down…the last river has been poisoned…the last fish caught, only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.• To waste, to destroy, our natural resources, to skin and exhaust the land instead of using it so as to increase its usefulness, will result in undermining in the days of our children the very prosperity which we ought by right to hand down to them amplified…

Water as a resource!Water as a resource!Fresh water is a renewable resource.Water resource is sources of water that are useful or potentially useful. Uses of water include agricultural, industrial, household, recreational and environmental activities.

97% of the water on the Earth is salt water. Only three percent is fresh water; and two thirds of this is frozen in glaciers and polar ice caps. The remaining unfrozen freshwater is found mainly as groundwater, with only a small fraction present above ground or in the air.

Surface water is water in a river, lake or fresh water wetland. Surface water is naturally replenished by precipitation and naturally lost through discharge to the evaporation.

Water us a very importantResource!

Water is a simple compound of hydrogen and oxygen. Water is a renewable resource.

Of the 3% of fresh water, only three percent is frozen in glaciers and and polars ice

caps.

Of the 97% of water on Earth is salt water, and 3% is fresh water.

Water has many uses like: Agricultural,Industrial,Household,Recreational, and

Environmental activities.

Water is a chemical substance chanced on that

first refered that is a dihydrogen oxide.

Water is a very important resource for organisms. Life

originated in water.

.Water have molecules that contains one oxygen and two

hydrogen atoms connected by covalent bonds.

Water is a chemical formula

called H20.

Water is a renewable resource.

Life originated in water.

Water has three states, called solid,

liquid and gas.

.Water has a cycle.

Alliance is a partnership of

agriculture industry groups,

resource conservation

agencies, researchers, and environmental organizations

working towards the

following vision

Industrial water use includes water used for such purposes as

fabricating, processing, washing, diluting, cooling, or

transporting a product; incorporating water into a product;

or for sanitation needs within the

manufacturing facility. Some industries that use large amounts of water produce such

commodities as food, paper, chemicals,

refined petroleum, or primary metals.

Household are services we

use every day in our daily

life.

Primary body contact may consist

of the following recreational

activities depending on the

characteristics of your water resource.

Environmental water may include water stored in

impoundments and released for

environmental purposes (held environmental

water), but more often is water retained in

waterways through regulatory limts of

abstraction. Environmental water

usage includes watering of natural or artificial

wetlands, artificial lakes intended to create wildlife habitat, fish ladders, and

water releases from reservoirs timed to help fish spawn, or to restore

more natural flow regimes.

DO YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT IT, HERE ARE SOME TIPS TO SAVE WATER :

Why do we need to save water? We need to save water because ocean water is very salty so, if the fresh water finish,we can’t use salty water for cooking, drinking, bathing .

What are some ways to conserve water ? turn off the water while you are brushing or washing your face . take shorter showers don’t fii the tube

Water is more than a chemical substance contains one oxygen and two hydrogen atoms. Water has become a reason for conflicts and a controversial commodity, and yet, it is inevitable for every human being on the planet.
