ABOUT WORKSHOP A therapeutic diet is modifed rom a "Normal" diet and is prescribed to meet a medical or special nutritional need. In some health disorders, diet therapy goes hand-in- hand with medical care. When planning therapeutic diets it is essential to have accurate nowledge about the nutrient and ingredient, composition o all dishes and individual menu items to determine their suitability. !his wor shop combines theoretical teaching, s ill training or the nursing personnel, discussion on dietary management in critical scenarios and practical implications or planners to incorporating therapeutic diets. Objectives: !o enhance and e pand the nowledge on science based nutrition by the art o nutritional coaching !o o#er practical tools or therapeutic diet that can be implemented into all health care setting and populations. !o deepen understanding o nutrition as well as to provide a comprehensive approach to individuali$ed patient centered care during various health disorders.
