Follow manufacturer's instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables. use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.

• When handlers use enclosed cabs or aircraft in a ( manner that meets the requirements listed in the Worker Protectiof' Standard (WPSI for agricultural pesticides 140 CFR i 70.240(d)(4,6)1. the handler prE requirements may be reduced or modified as speCified ill the WPS.

• The encio,ed cabs must be used in a manner that meets the reQuirpments listed in the VJorker Protection Standard (WPS) for agricultural pesticide, 140 CFR 170.240(d)(4-6)). The handler PPE requorements may be reduced or modified as specified in the WPS.

User Safety Recommendations: User should:

• Remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside, Then wash lhoroughly and put on clean clothing.

STATEMENTS OF PRACTICAL TREATMENT Organophosphate

In case of poisoning. call a physician immediately. Have patient lie down and keep qUiet. It swallowod. vomiting should be induced. Admmister water freelv and induce vomiting bV givlllQ one dose (1/2 oz. or 15 mI.) of 'Vrup of ipecac. If vomiting docs not occur within 10 1u 20 minutes, administer second dose. If syrup of ipecac IS not available, induce vomiting bV sticking finger down throat. Repeat until vomit fluid is clear. Never give anything by mouth to an unconsCIous person. Professional medical assiMance should be secured im. nediately. II on skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin immediately with soap and warm water. II .Y ...... contaminated, wash with flowing water for at least 15 minutes.

T\l PHYSICIAN: ANTIDOTE - Admimster atropine sullate in large therapeutic doses. Repeat as necessary to the point of tolerance. 2·PAM IS also antidotal and may be administered in conjunction with atropine.

Comoound inhibits cholinesterase resulting in stimulatio~ of the central nervous system, the parasympathetic nervouS system, and the somatic rnotor nerves Do not give morphin". Watch lor pulmonary edema, which may develop in serious cases 01 poisoning even alter 1 2 hours. At first sign 01 pulmonary edema, the patient should be placed in an oxygen tent and treated symptomatically.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

This pesticide :s extremely toxic to fish and wildlife.

For terre.trial uscs, do not apply directly to water, or to oreas where surface water is present or to intertidal areas below the mean hi~h water mark. Do not contaminate water by ci~aning of equipment or disposal of wastes. Drift and runofi from treated areas may be hazardous to aQu:::Itic organisms i,: neigt-,boring areas.

This prodl!ct is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment or residues Gil blooming crops or weeds. RESTRICTIONS

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

It IS a violation of t-cdcral law to usc this product in a manner inconsistent with Its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that Will contact workers or other persons. either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application. For any requirements specific to your State or Tribe, consult the agency responsible tor pesticide regulation.

AGRICULTURAL USE REQUIREMENTS Use this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard. 40 CFR part 110. This Standard contains requirements tor the protection of agricultural workers on farms. forests. nurser;es. and greenhouses. and handlers of agricultural pesticides. It contains requirements for training. decontamination, notitication. and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructions and exceptions pertaining to the ~tatements on this label about personal protective equipment (PPEI and restricte(t'entry interval. The requirements in this box only apply to uses of t: lis product that are covered by the Worke' Protection Standard.

Do not enter or allow workN entry into treated areas during the restricted entry inter.al (REI) ot 48 hours.

The REI is 72 hours in outdoor areas where average rainfall is less than 25 inches a year.

MIXING: The enclosed packets cont,ining GUTHION SOLUPAK insecticide are water soluble. Do not allow packet to become wet prior to adding tn the spray tank. Do not handle with wet hands. Reseal outer bag to protect remaining packets.

To prepare the spray mixture, drop tne required number uf unopened packets, as dp.termined under "Re~ommended Application", into the spray tank while fi!lin~ w'th water to the desired level. Operate the agitator w",ie mixing. Depending on the wai.e( :e-nperattlre aile the degree of agitation. the packets should be completely dissolved within approximately 5 minutes from the time they were \ added to the water.

To determine physical compatibility. pour the recommended proportions of each chemical with the same proportion of water as will be present in the chcmicai supply tank into a suitable container. mix thoroughly and allow to stand for five minutes. !f the combinfltion ( remains mixed, or can be remixed readily, the mixwre is considered physioally compatible.
