MESSAGEPRINCIPAL’SBeginning Week 3, Monday 11 May, students will begin to transition back to school for one day a week and will continue to engage in ‘learning from home’ on the other four days.
Please be aware that families who need to send their children to school every day may do so.
We have decided that the best structure will be to use our Sporting Houses. This means that from Monday – Thursday, students from each sporting house will attend school to participate in face to face learning.
It is important to note that all students will engage in the same single unit of work regardless of whether they are at school or at home.
Call the office on 6543 1896 if you are unsure about which sporting house your child is in.
Having fewer students at school increases our ability to uphold the recommended physical distancing guidelines for everybody’s safety.
We request that parents and carers:• Communicate with the school via phone or email where possible and if you need to see a member of staff in person, please make an appointment.• Drop off and pick up their children from outside the front and back gates.• Abide by physical distancing guidelines in and around the school.

3 YELLOW NEWS3 Yellow students and their families, have embraced learning from home with a lot of enthusiasm, dedication and commitment. Students have
been learning how to complete their English, Mathematics and Key Learning Area tasks through Microsoft Teams and enjoy the daily video conference.
Mrs Felan misses the students in 3 Yellow a lot but the 10am video check in and regular photos from students and their families, mean they are never far away.
WARRAE WANNI PROGRAM UPDATE
A special “Hello to our children and families”,
A number of enquires have been received asking when our program is to resume post COVID-19. Unfortunately the department has advised that our program continues to remain temporarily suspended until all school children return to school. The timeline for this to occur is unknown at the moment. We will continue to keep you updated as information comes available. In the meantime we encourage all of our families to upload the Seesaw Classroom app and come on board for some fun play based learning activities in your home. It’s our best option at this stage to maintain the connections between children /staff / families and community. Please contact Mrs Watson on [email protected] for your unique code to access Seesaw Classroom.
Best wishes to you all.
From Mrs Watson, Suellen and Bec
