In your packs, you have 7 different musical hooks
that have been cut up and mixed up.
Each section has been given a letter from A – H to
help you when giving your answers.
When we listen to these hooks, your task is to
piece them together in the right order.
All of the letters (A – H) will be mixed up when you
piece them together – this is right, don’t worry!
We will now do an example together...

Musical Hooks are used in most pieces to help
the listener remember the piece.
Musical Hooks need to be catchy to stick in
your head.
The ‘hook’ in the piece is what the performer is
trying to sell. If they perform it well lots of people will remember it and buy it in the shops!
