Name: Rebecca Watson Your Music Video concept and it’s finer, creative details… What’s the song about? “Cherry” by Moose Blood is actually about the artist’s relationship with his wife and step-daughter, however I have decided to interpret the song written about an affair and how the artist has completely destroyed his life through having the affair. Predominantly the themes within this song are as follows: affair, smoking and destruction. What is your video about? What is the story/message/question you are trying to convey? My music video to this sound is about an individual male protagonist who has an affair with a girl slightly younger than him. His wife finds out and we, as an audience, see the aftermath of this affair and how it affects him as an individual, as well as being able to see what goes through his head. The message of this music video is that an affair can be dangerous and can ruin someone’s life; this video is just one example of what can happen afterwards. Is it going to illustrate, amplify or completely challenge the song’s message? The video is going to mainly illustrate the message and amplify certain aspects of the song and the lyrics included within the song. It’s going to tell the audience how an affair can ruin your life and how you can turn into someone completely different because of it. What is going to make this video iconic, creative and unique? Firstly, this will be one of the few music videos created for this song because the band have not released one. This factor alone will make it unique. However, I am not just going to rely on this factor. The video will include atmospheric and intense scenes that will really give the audience an insight into this individual’s life, as well as the dim lighting and the abstract use of fire to convey messages about destruction to the audience. I will aim for this music video to be unique in such a sense that it stands out and therefore is memorable in the audience’s mind through the messages conveyed.

Your Music Video concept and it’s finer, creative details…

What’s the song about?
