Results for music magazine survey

Most of the people who answered my survey were girls this means my magazine will be mostly aimed at girls.

This chart shows that the largest amount of people to do my survey were aged 16-18 because of this my magazine will be aimed at that age group.

My picture will be mostly picture led but will still have a good amount of text for readers.

This shows me that my magazine would have better potential selling if I added freebies to it.

CDs and offers are obviously the most popular but posters and stickers are also very popular to maybe I can fin a way to include these into my magazine.

Quite a few of the people that did my survey chose other magazines such as Look and Heat this shows that music magazines are not as popular as they use to be. Most of my readers prefer Kerrang as there favourite music magazine, so I will look at there style and techniques.

Rock is the favourite type of music in this group of people so by seeing this it shows me that I should use rock singers and groups to represent and appear in my magazine. Although there is a large mix of tastes in music so I should have a varied style of music and artists.

This chart shows that most people like competitions so I should include some in my magazine to interest them.

Most of the people who completed the survey attend gigs once a year, the next largest choice once a month, when I saw this I thought instantly of a calendar, maybe I could create my magazine

in the style of a calendar which can be hung up and shows the readers when tickets are on sale? Or when the gig is on?

By doing this question along with the freebies question I have found out that people like offers such as 10% ect and that shows that my magazine would appeal to people more if it included some and by doing this I can find out which shop offers would be more appreciated.
