SXSW ScreenBurn A Creative Game-Development Conference & Gaming Arcade
Panels In 2011, SXSW Interactive presented the sixth year of SXSW ScreenBurn panels. SXSW ScreenBurn programming focuses on creative game development and features 62 panels with more than 152 speakers.
The Arcade The annual SXSW ScreenBurn Arcade features an array of companies displaying their newest game developments and other gaming-related innovations, as well as hosting gaming tournaments. The Arcade is open to SXSW registrants, general consumers and gamers of all types. 27,000 people attended the SXSW ScreenBurn Arcade over three days in 2011.

The SXSW Auditorium Shores Stage concerts are a three-day series of free-to-the-public, charity beneficiary concert events held on SXSW’s largest stage in downtown Austin. The Flatstock Poster Show brings more than 150 renowned poster artists to Austin from across the country. Flatstock is a four-day, 23,000 square foot, free-to-the-public poster art show held during SXSW Music since 2003.
The SXSW Music Gear Expo returns for its third year as the gear epicenter, showcasing the newest, coolest equipment to the people who want to play it. The Expo is open to all SXSW showcasing bands, thousands of registrants from the SXSW Music, Film and Interactive conferences as well as the general public.
New in 2011, Style X is the official fashion and style showcase of South by Southwest. Taking place during the Music festival in the Austin Convention Center, Style X is part pop-up retail expo and part fashion show. The event featured emerging designers from all over the country, who not only showed their wears on the runway, but also made their items available for purchase in dozens of pop-up retail booths.
