2017 MSHP ANNUAL MEETINGJuly 20th – 22nd, 2017
Oxford Conference Center • Oxford, Mississippi
Event DetailsAfter a great event in 2016, the Annual Meeting of the Mississippi Society of Health-System Pharmacists is headed north to Oxford and a new meeting venue, the Oxford Conference Center. On behalf of the MSHP Education Committee, I hope that you will consider joining us in Oxford for continuing education (CE), networking opportunities, and some well-deserved downtime. The general meeting will officially begin on the afternoon of Thursday, July 20th with 3.5 hours of CE.
A total of 12.5 hours of CE will be offered with the opportunity to complete the education required to earn or maintain a Mississippi Consultant Pharmacist Certification. The continuing education offerings this year will include a broad array of topics and feature speakers from a variety of settings.
We have made a few changes to the meeting this year. First, immediately after the opening day’s education sessions, the exhibits and silent auction will open at the Oxford Conference Center. Food and beverages will be provided during the exhibitor showcase. The awards banquet and officer installations will be held on Friday, July 21st. Immediately following the final education sessions of the day, attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy a reception hosted by MSHP and the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy at The Graduate. Shuttle service will be provided to The Graduate and from the square on the evening of the reception.
RegistrationMSHP requires that all persons wishing to attend the functions register for the meeting. To participate in the continuing education or exhibits, you must receive a nametag. These nametags should be visible at all times. Early registration will end June 20, 2017. A registration form is attached, or you may visit our website to register at www.msshp.org.
