A Student’s lack of effort is the only reason a student will fail Biology.

Students may check out a textbook from the library to leave at home in addition to the Online Textbook posted in Canvas for all students. We use class sets in the classroom. Please ensure Internet access is reliable if you are choosing ONLY the online textbook.

• Check the Board or Whiteboard and begin stated objective upon arrival. • Organize and keep a Biology Binder that will be assessed at the end of each nine weeks. • Cell Phones will remain in the “Phone Zone”. • Free Pass Card to go to the restroom or locker. No Card = 30 min detention (school policy) • Daily & Weekly lesson plans are posted. Keep an assignment book or take a picture. • Remain seated & be dismissed by the TEACHER, not the bell!

F Due to the block scheduling, a student will need to come check for assignments the day they return. (Even if they do not attend Biology class that day...drop by to ask.)

F Check in at advisory (7:50am) to collect make-up work. F For extended illness, request that the office gather assignments to pick up after 2:30 each day.

F School Activity is NOT an absence! Collect Assignments before the school activity

& returned to class on the original due date.

F If you are released early, check with your afternoon teachers before you leave

or the day prior .
