If you would like your child to participate in this they need to arrive at school by 7:30 on Tuesday-Friday. Students will be allowed to work on homework until 8:00. Any student participating MUST be present by 7:35 and MUST have assignments to work on. Adult assistance will be available. We are running low on our treat box goodies and we are out of guinea pig food and bedding. Any parent that would like to send in any extras to help our classroom would be great. I appreciate all you do! PLEASE collect the Coca-Cola codes from Coke bottle tops and the inside of the cardboard boxes and send them in! We could win 2 IPad’s for our room OR 5 Nook color Tablets!!! Our vocabulary strategy is Word Structure. Social Studies - We will continue with Chapter 7 in History Alive! The students will continue learning about the 13 colonies. We will test over this Chapter on Thursday. Math - We will test over Chapter 5 (division of decimals). Spelling - Consonant Sounds /j/, /ks/, /sk/, and /s/. Test Thursday. Writing - Students will continue working on On-Demand writing with both passage based and stand along prompts. We will introduce how to write an article. Specials: PE and Art
