Thursday - Reading/Math Log. Fluency Sheet. Study for spelling test.
Friday - Spelling Test today, Reading/Math Log and Fluency sheet due.
Please make every effort to have your child pre-sent and on time for school. Also, please discuss with your child the importance of good behavior and ap-propriate interactions with friends. This is the time of year when we are really focusing on review and strengthening of skills learned to be ready for sec-ond grade’s end of year assessments.
Blue half-sheet notices were sent home last Wednesday and are to be returned before May 8. These notices are regarding address and school-to-be attended for next year.
April 13—24—Fifth grade FSA. Resource schedules will be modified for all other grade levels to accommodate computer based assessments for these students.
April 24—Character Counts Awards Ceremony—Trustworthiness
April 24—Hartley Family Prom Night 6—8 PM. See Hartley’s website for more information
April 29 & 30—End of year Discovery Education Assessments for 2nd grade. These assessments are second graders’ “FSA” (formerly FCAT) type assessment. To ensure success-ful testing, please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast and arrives at school on time.
May 1—Barnes Farm field trip. Permissions slips are attached and due Friday, April 24.
