Welcome to Tonya Johnson, MPH Internship Coordinator
We are delighted to welcome Tonya Johnson to our college as our new MPH
Internship Coordinator. Tonya thoroughly enjoys working with students, and views
the internship as the one of the most important and engaging educational
opportunities a student can have. She has 25 years of experience in community
health, in both academic and governmental public health settings.
Tonya is very excited to take on the role of MPH Internship Coordinator and is
looking forward to building partnerships with students, preceptors, and faculty.
Tonya hit the ground running on March 9th and has been working closely with
students who are completing their internship during spring term. Tonya is available
by email, cell, and Zoom office hours: oregonstate.zoom.us/my/tonyajohnson71
Tuesdays 1:30-3:30pm
Wednesdays 12:00-2:00pm
Thursdays 2:00-3:00pm
and by appointment
If you would like to learn more about the MPH Internship process, please join Tonya
and Amanda at one of our MPH Student Meetings on April 10th and April 14th. If
you are interested in completing a summer (or fall) internship, please contact
Tonya soon to discuss details.
