ment as she recovered from
surgery.

Give the gift of love!
December 2, 2016
Our Z-club members are asking for
your help to make Christmas magi-
cal for children in need. We will be
collecting Advent shoe box gifts for
the children of St. Luke’s Mission of
Mercy from now until December 20.
There are three ways you can help:
1. Put together a box (or boxes!)
2. Bring in small items for a box
(see suggestions on Page 3).
3. Contribute monetary donations
to buy items to fill boxes.
Preparing a box is easy and fun. De-
cide if your gift box will be for a boy
or girl, and decide the age category (2
-5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-15). Fill your shoe-
box with a variety of new gifts to
match your selections. Wrap your
box and attach a label (available out-
side the ALC) with the gender and
age category circled. Have your
daughter bring your donation to the
ALC.
Every year, our students volunteer at
St. Luke’s and see the many families
from our community who are unable

Last year, Mounties collected 300 boxes to give
to the children at St. Luke’s Mission of Mercy,
