Thank you for your interest in joining or continuing to participate as a sponsor for the Motorcycle Grand Tour of Virginia 2017, celebrating the excitement of motorcycling in Virginia! Powersports Dealers Association of Virginia (formerly VMDA) is once again excited to promote motorcycle tourism, safety and awareness. What it’s all about:

The Motorcycle Grand Tour of Virginia provides a statewide, six month promotion of Virginia’s attractions. Stops include parks, restaurants, state and national historical sites, motorcycle dealers and after a day of riding places to bed down for the night. We know there is great potential to increase ridership as there are 197,000 motorcycles registered in the State of Virginia and over 300,000 people with M endorsements on their Driver’s License. This unique marketing effort guarantees increased floor/visitor traffic. Over the years the tour has enjoyed overwhelming positive feedback from sponsors and riders alike. Last year we introduced “bonus points” which encourages riders to spend money at sponsor sites. Riders responded by submitting receipts totaling over $80,000 spent with tour sponsors. Join us for the Grand Tour and enjoy how valuable motorcycle riders can be to your business.

For a registration fee of only $35, each motorcycle enthusiast will receive a motorcycle passport (which lists all sponsors, their point values, locations, phone and hours of operation), a ride brochure, and a Grand Tour memento. Each rider at his/her own pace, over a six month period, will visit each participating destination and get his passport stamped. Excitement and “buzz” with riders and sponsors will be maintained using electronic media such as Facebook, Twitter, e-mail and the web. Each stamp will be worth a specified number of points based on a total combination of that sponsor’s level of participation and the retail value of any prizes donated for awards at the end of the tour. When a rider is reading and planning a weekend ride the total number of sponsor points often influence the ride. The Grand Tour will start on the April 1, 2017 and close October 10, 2017. We will have a closing party TBD (will be in November 2017) where all the prizes will be given out, including the $1000 cash Grand Prize. We look forward to having you as a sponsor. Sponsor Level Terms and Conditions: As a participating sponsor, you will receive:

Platinum Sponsor $1,500 *Limited to only fifteen Sponsors.

As a Platinum sponsor you will receive:

• Your destination will be worth 15 points in the motorcycle passport.

• Mandatory rider visitation, as your destination will be a mandatory stopping point within your

zone for riders to be eligible for the grand prize drawing.

• Your company featured in each of the 6 monthly E-Newsletters sent to all tour participants.

This includes: Brought to you by ____, use of your logo and a Link to your website.

• Minimum of two featured TWEETS promoting your upcoming event, specials or business

on our Twitter and Facebook page.

• Ability to hang your company banner at any Grand Tour Event.

• Recognition in all tour materials, including Tour brochure, press releases, rider

passport and social media.

• Featured web link on the Grand Tour website, vamotorcycletour.com

These 15 mandatory destinations will be the stops necessary, within each zone, in order for riders to be

entered into the Grand Prize drawing of 1000 cash. Platinum sponsors will be chosen on a first come

basis. There is a maximum of 15 sponsors, based on the advertising space available.

Gold Sponsor $1,000 *Subject to availability There is a limit on the # of mandatory spots (Get signed up fast)

As a Gold sponsor you will receive:

• Your destination will be worth 10 points in the motorcycle passport.

• Increased rider visitation, as your destination will be a VIP Anchor stopping point. Riders must stop at 70% of the VIP locations, within each zone, to be eligible for prize drawings.

• Ability to hang your company banner at any Grand Tour Closing Party.

• Recognition in all Tour materials including tour brochure, and rider passport.

• Web link on the Grand Tour website, vamotorcycletour.com

*Gold Sponsors will represent each of the zones outlined in the Tour in Virginia (Northern,

Southwestern, Piedmont, Eastern and Central) These anchor destinations will be the stops necessary in

order for riders to be entered into any of the prize drawings. Anchor destinations will be chosen on a

first come basis. There is a limited number of these sponsorships.

Silver Sponsor $600

As a silver sponsor you will receive:

• Your destination will be worth 6 points in the motorcycle passport. • Recognition in Tour materials including tour brochures and motorcycle passport.

Bronze Sponsor $300 As a bronze sponsor you will receive:

• Your destination will be worth 3 point in the motorcycle passport. • Recognition in Tour brochures and motorcycle passport.

ADDITIONAL POINTS: 1 additional sponsor point will be awarded for every $100 total prize value donated to the Grand Tour.

ALL PRIZE DONATIONS ARE WELCOMED AND WILL BE RECOGNIZED FOR THE 2017 GRAND TOUR!

Double sponsorship points will be given to any sponsor who is also a 2016 member or associate member of the Powersports Dealers Association of Virginia.

As a participating sponsor, you agree to:

Pay the total sponsor sum you select on this contract by September 1, 2016. Engage your staff participation and awareness of the Grand Tour Program throughout the extent of the tour. As riders visit you validate each Motorcycle Passport with the provided Tour stamp and date. Provide your company logo for use in Tour marketing materials. Must have the ability to offer passport validation during your hours of operation stated below. If a second

validation point is to be designated for off hours, this must be stated on the 2017 contract.
