It gives me great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for MoonyeanNewman. Mrs. Newman started with us as a first grade teacher. One of my teachers' wason maternity leave, and Mrs. Newman became the long-term substitute. Our parentspraised her over and over on her wonderful job she had done for their child. With herhard work as a substitute teacher, we hired her for another first grade teacher who wentout on maternity leave for the second half of the year. Mrs. Newman organized theclassroom and turned the students around who were struggling.

Mrs. Newman has done a great job for us. She is a team player and is very willingto learn new strategies she can use to help her students succeed. She plans with her firstgrade team and shares ideas, which has made a difference in her students' achievement.

We have been very fortunate to have such a caring teacher work with ourstudents. Mrs. Newman works well with staff, parents, administrator, and students. She isvery professional and is a pleasure to have on staff. Mrs. Newman will be an asset to anyschool.
