    Late Fees/Discounts:

    To avoid a late fee, you must register for a class prior to the start date. A $25 late fee is charged if you register the same

    day the class/program begins. Classes may be cancelled due to low participation, so please register at least a week

    before the class begins! Active Duty Military members, Reservists, and Veterans will receive a 10% discount with

    appropriate proof of a military I.D., or a DD-214. Seniors (55+) can also receive a 10% discount.

    Refund Policy:

    Fees are Non-Refundable. If the class/program is cancelled due to lack of participants, you will receive a full refund.

    Mad Science "Secret Agent Lab" Look out, 007 – the Mad Science Spy Academy is in session! Using powers of observation and the Inspectikit, you’ll be the forensic scientist you’ve always wanted to be. This is your adventure! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks in this hands-on view of the science that spies use. From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, Jr. Detectives will have the opportunity to check out spy equipment and step into the shoes of a spy in action!     Girls On The Run for Grades 3 - 5

    GOTRCNJ is excited to offer a live, virtual GOTR program. Each session will be 60 minutes in length. Teams will meet twice a week for 8 weeks. Each girl receives a journal to use during virtual lessons. It includes fun physical activities to support individual workouts. Girls also receive an end of season t-shirt and medal, and an end of season (optional) virtual 5K. The emphasis is not on running but on having fun! GOTR lessons will offer our girls the opportunity to connect with others, find helpful resources, and to be inspired. Limited spots register ASAP! Interactive online lectures & supervised play provide reinforcement for new concepts introduced each week. All classes taught by IM, Dean Ippolito.     Code Ninja Classes Beginner Coding In the beginner coding classes, students will learn the basics of game design and coding by using block-based language to build their own video games. Guided by award-winning Code Senseis, students will be able to fully interact with coaches using secure Zoom meetings. They will learn the fundamentals of design, storytelling, coding, and debugging. After the session, they will have a portfolio of games that can be shared with friends and family.

    In-person golf will be held outside at the Otto Kaufman Center, with students wearing masks and socially distanced. Students learn about rules, etiquette, chipping, putting & the full swing, and many other aspects of the game. Learn how to grip the club appropriately and develop a proper swing. Bring your clubs but there will be equipment available. Bring a water bottle!     Somerset County Senior Centers Offer Virtual Programs and Activities Via Zoom

    Silver Strength with Rose – Monday, 1:00 a.m. This 45-minute exercise class is great for older adults

    of all skill levels. Participants will have 20 minutes of cardio (or movement); followed by 20 minutes of

    toning (with or without weights), then a five-minute relaxing stretch. Sneakers are required

    Beginner Ukulele Lessons with Denise – Wednesday’s, 1:00 PM. This 8-week class will get you

    started on the right note to learn the foundation of playing the ukulele in easy-to-follow lessons.

    Participants will learn how to hold, tune, and strum simple chords.

    Intermediate Ukulele Lessons with Chris – Tuesday, 10 a.m. & Thursday, Friday 10 a.m. Now that

    you know the basics of ukulele playing, you are ready to take the intermediate lessons so that you can

    play like a pro! Using a wide range of musical genres, participants will learn more about chords and

    melody playing, improvisation, and will start playing multi-part arrangements in a band.

    Forever Young Readers Theatre Club – Monday’s 11 :00 am Presented by Lili Carrick PHD.

    Readers Theatre integrates oral reading, literature, and the performing arts. Unlike traditional Theatre,

    readers Theatre does not require makeup, costumes, sets or props. It does not require memorizations of

    lines, only a script is needed. Reading aloud from the script, the readers use their voice and, facial

    expression and body movement to interpret the emotions, beliefs, motives, and attitudes of the

    character. Readers Theatre is a social interactive activity. Readers can be of all ages and abilities.

    Yoga with Elizabeth – Tuesday, 10 a.m. This class is open to all levels of skill. This class practices

    yoga poses that can be done while either standing or sitting. Practicing yoga may help to increase bone

    density, strength and balance. Participants will learn techniques to help gain flexibility and improve

    strength while being immersed in a relaxing class. Expect lots of gentle stretching to bring movement to

    joints and muscles. This class is perfect for stress-relief and for gaining an overall sense of well-being.

    Exercise for Arthritis with Elizabeth – Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. This exercise program is designed to help

    reduce pain, fatigue and stiffness while increasing flexibility, strength, balance and endurance while

    practicing in a safe and positive environment.

    help reduce pain, fatigue and stiffness while increasing flexibility, strength, balance and endurance while

    Creative Wellness with Shirin Stave-Matais, -2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month Creative Wellness

    includes various ways to better our health on different levels including but not limited to:

    Chair & Hatha Yoga, Dance, Brain/Body exercises, Relaxation techniques, Guided Meditation,

    Visualizations, Sound Wellness, and Breathing Techniques from Pranayama.

    This class is intended for people of all skill levels and can be practiced while either standing or sitting.

    Modifications and substitutions may always be made. 11:00 am

    Move Today with Elizabeth, 10:00 am 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Move Today is an exercise class

    designed to improve flexibility, balance, strength, and stamina. The class focuses on improving posture

    and fall prevention. Exercises can be practiced while either standing or sitting.

    Ageless Grace Fitness Program with Roz Gerken, certified ageless grace educator, 1 :00 p.m.

    Monthly Ageless -Grace is based on the cutting-edge science of neuroplasticity, which is the ability of

    the brain and central nervous system to change functionally and structurally. The program is designed to

    activate all five functions of the brain (i.e. strategic planning, memory and recall, analytical thinking,

    creativity and imagination and kinesthetic thinking). The program is intended for participants of all

    abilities while being thoroughly engaged and seated in a chair. 1:00pm Call for date

    Let Your Yoga Dance- Instructor Kate Denby will teach the practice of fusion gentle yoga and dance

    with music from around the world. It’s designed to accommodate everybody and it’s accessible to

    people of all abilities. Most of all, it’s a lot of fun and a great way to get people moving in a safe
