2018 4H TEEN SUMMIT For Youth in Grades 6-8
The greatest benefits young people receive from 4-H are confi-
dence and knowledge to be good communicators and better lead-ers. 4-H Summit works to strengthen these qualities through
hands-on workshops, guest speakers, seminars, group living, rec-
reation & recognition. During the Kentucky 4-H Summit, youth will
be able to take four fun and educational workshops. Youth in
grades 6-8 can build their lead- ership, citizenship and communica-
tions skills at the KY Leader- ship Center in Jabez, KY on March 8,
9, & 10, 2018. Each year a delegation of middle school-aged
teens travel to Jabez to represent Montgomery County at the Summit. Now is the time to regis-
ter for the Summit. If interested, contact me at the Montgomery County Extension Office to re-
ceive an informational packet. The registration fee for participants includes lodging, meals,
snacks, conference T-shirts and workshop and activity fees.
Registration fee & forms are due by January 31st.
