The Montepio Peniche Pro by Rip Curl was the pearl of league in 2013. The previous event had already had good conditions but Pico da Mota overcame everything and for three days provided great waves for the best competitors in Portugue-se surfing. This beach break perfectly received a swell that showed scarce conditions in almost all other beaches of our coast. Summer weather with an autumn like swell, with little wind and good for-mation, were the norm throughout the event and this was the perfect stage for Frederico Morais to

show his best surfing.After a slight “stumble” in Ribeira D’Ilhas, Morais from Guincho showed in Peniche how hot his sur-fing and proved that anyone who wants to beat him has tough task ahead. Is the title already his?

O Montepio Peniche Pro by Rip Curl foi a pérola da Liga MOCHE em 2013. A etapa anterior já tinha tido boas condições mas o Pico da Mota superou tudo, e durante três dias proporcionou óptimas ondas aos melhores competidores do surf por-tuguês. Este beach break recebeu na perfeição um swell que se mostrava escasso em quase to-das as outras praias da nossa costa. Tempo de Verão e ondulação de Outono, com pouco vento e boa formação, foram a norma durante toda a prova e esse foi o palco perfeito para Frederico

Morais mostrar o seu melhor nível.Depois de ter “tropeçado” em Ribeira D’Ilhas, Mo-rais mostrou em Peniche que está num nível el-evadíssimo e que quem o quiser bater terá uma tarefa dura pela frente. Será que o título já é seu?
