TIDE project
TIDE- ‘Transport Innovation Deployment for Europe’ is a project funded by European Commision,
which focuses upon 15 innovative measures in 5 thematic clusters: financing models and pricing
measures, non-motorised transport, network and traffic management to support traveller
information, electric vehicles and public transport organisation.
Vilnius has selected the fifth thematic cluster- PT organisation.
The time frame of the project is April 2013- October 2015.
Vilnius is a Champion City in the project, which means that the city receives funding and assitance
from the partners to implement the selected measure, which is a creation of metropolitan transport
authority in the region.
This seminar is a part of the project and it aims to bring together all the stakeholders, as well as
experts in order to prepare a clear implementation scenario for such change.
