    OPENING ADOBE PHOTOSHOP

    Click start-Programs-Adobe Photoshop.

    ADOBE PHOTOSHOP WINDOWS

    Title Bar; this shows the title of the adobe Photoshop window that is currently opened.Menu bar: This shows different menus that contain different commands that you can

    perform on using the Adobe Photoshop window.

    Option Bar: This contains different option settings that you can set on different tools thatyou select from the tool bar.

    Palletes: These are different windows that can be displayed and used to perform different

    commands (Actions) to the Adobe Photoshop window.

    These palettes are such as:Color: Enable you to show mixture of color (primary color) and their resulting color

    (secondary color).

    Swatches: This can allow you to see and select particular image and background color.

    Navigator: This enables to preview what you are doing.Layers: This shows all the layers and background for you to select and insert a particular

    layer you want to work on.

    HOW TO HIDE/SHOW PALLETES WINDOWS:

    To insert or hide a particular palette window.

    Click window Menu-This will display a pop up box for you to select or deselect thewindow you want to be displayed for use,

    OPENNING A BACKGROUND WINDOWThis is sometimes known as a canvas or working area where you insert layers to create

    ,insert and design different images and texts when creating a particular Adobe photoshop.To open thisClick file-New

    Clicking this will display a dialog box for you to define the prameters

    -Name (if you want)-Width (400 inches)

    -Height (400 inches)

    -Resolution=72 pixels per inch

    Mode=RGB color-Content =white

    After completing setting the parameters click ok button.

    Clicking this will insert a new layers for creating a designing a particular image or textwithin a different layers .

    -This background window will also be seen in the right side of the Adobe photoshop

    window within the layers Pallete within that canvas area you can insert layer for eachimage or Text since each image and text must be on its own layer.

    TO INSERT A NEW LAYER

    Click layer New layer or you can click on the New layer icon located at the bottom

    of the layer pallete.

    Clicking this will insert a new layer which will also be inserted in the layers pallete list

    and this list will enable you to select any layer you want to work with By just clicking

    on it while creating ,designing or editing that particular image or text within that layer.

    WORKING WITH TOOLBOX

    This box contains most at the tools to work through with the Adobe photoshop windowand each tools has its own within the Adobe photoshop window some of the tools ,

    contain small arrow at the bottom right of the

    This means that tool contains a group of other different tools that are related that tools.

    To see these other tools within that group and to select particular tools just go to that tooland click it once .

    Marquee tools:

    These are tool that can be used to draw different figures within different layers by justclicking on the tool and drag the mouse point to the required layer where you want to

    draw that figure.To draw a fixed size figure click on the arrow located at besides the style section and

    from within click Fixed size clicking this will display the text boxes where you have to

    specify the width and Height of the figure you want to draw after selecting it and finally

    click once on the required layer where you want to insert that figure .These tools are such as rectangular Elliptical etc.

    After inserting the figure to the required layer and location.

    FILLING THE COLOR TO THE IMAGE.

    You can fill the color within any image by

    -click on the swatches pallete.-select the color you want by just clicking once on it.

    -Right click on the Gradient Tool within the tool box and then click on the Paint Bucket

    Tool .-click once inside the figure that you want to fill the selected color in order to fill that

    color.

    But if you fill a particular color within the figure by mistake, Press Delete key to

    removr the flowing bars around that figure byClicking select Deselect

    WORKING WITH TEXTThis tool can be used to write any type of text that you want by selecting it from a list of

    options for different types of text format .

    To perform this-insert a new layer for writing the text you want .

    -Right click on the Horizontal Type Tool(T) and then from within select any type of text

    style you want.

    -Make sure that if you want to type any text on top of a particular image or another text

    make sure that layer of text is on top of the layer of the image or text that you want to

    write on.To put the layer on top of the other layer

    -Move the mouse pointer to the other layers pallete and then make sure you have seen all

    the layers that are within the canvas Area and then click and Drag on Top ,the layerthat you want on top of the other layer

    -start typing the text that you want to type.

    Note that :to move ant text or image within canvas area make sure you have clicked firston its required layer from the layers pallete list and then click on the Move tool and

    then click and then drag the required Text Image to the required location.

    EDITING TEXT

    This can allow you to make any changes or corrections to the text you have already

    written.

    To perform this :-click on the layer containing the text to be edited within the layers palette.

    -click once on horizontal type tool (T).-click anywhere within the text where you want to make changes or correction and then

    make your changes.

    SETTING TEXT CHARACTERSThis can allow you to apply different attributes to the text that you have inserted to your

    working area.

    To perform this:-click on the layer containing the required text.

    -click once on horizontal Type tool (T).

    -Highlight the text that you want to apply those attributes.-click window-character

    -click on any attribute you want to apply to the selected text.

    CHANGING THE ORDER OF THE OBJECTS WITHIN LAYER:

    This action can enable you to re-order the layer containing different images and texts

    within the working area as you know each image or text must have its own layer.

    This action can enable you to reorder the all the layers from thelayers palette in suchaway that each image or text is inserted at the right place for it to be seen properly in the

    working area.For example:Putting a particular layer on top of the other layer will enable

    the image or text contained in that layer to be seen as if it is on top of the image or textcontained in the layer that is below that top layer.

    To reorder the layers; while you are in the Layers Paletteclick and drag the required

    layer to be on top or below another layer to put it as you want.To work with the particular image or text within the working area click first on its layer

    and then start to perform any action you want to the image or text contained in that

    selected layer

    SHOW/HIDING LAYERS

    This action will enable you to hide or show any layer from the working area.

    To perform this ,while you are in the layer palette and see a list of all layers.Each layer list has four parts:

    -The Eye (visibility)

    -Layer mask-The layer content (Layer Thumbnail)

    -The name of the layer

    .To add a particular layer,click once on its visibilityClicking this will remove that visibility from the layer list and thus will show that this

    layer has been hidden from the list of layers and from the working area.

    CREATING LINKING OR JOINING LAYERS

    This can enable you to link more than one layer inorder to make to them more togetherwhen you move them.

    To perform this :

    -click on the first layer to be included in the link.

    -Click once on each layer Mask of the required layer to be linked in the group to inserta link between them .

    -Click on the Move Tool and then click and drag on any content of the layer linkedlayer and this will enable to move all the contents of all linked layer within the group..

    To remove the link between the linked layer,click again on each layer mask of the linked

    layer to remove the link from that layer.

    DELETING LAYERS

    This can allow you to delete any layer that you dont want it to be in layer palette.

    To perform this :-While you are within the layers palette click on the name of the layer that you want to

    delete.

    -click layer Delete layer- OR Below the layers palette , click on the Delete icon andthen

    -confirm by clicking yes from the dialog box that displayed.

    CREATING EFFECT (INSERTING EFFECTS)

    This can allows setting a particular effect on the image or text that you design.For

    example Bold , Italic , Cola super script , sub script

    To perform this:Click layer layer style select any effect you want but the most commonly effect is the

    Drop Shadow effect that set the shadow to the image or text by using its appropriate

    device.When done click ok button.

    Custom Shapes :

    This feature contains ready made figures (tools) that can be used in drawing /insultingdifferent shapes /figures.

    -To use these tools, Right click on tools to view and select the figure that you want to

    insert by clicking on it once

    - After clicking on the required figure you can change its shape by clicking on the arrow

    located at the shape section within the option Tool bar and select another shape you

    want and when done.- click and Drag on the working area but after you have inserted a new layer for drawing

    this figure.

    Filling Color to custom shapes:

    In order to apply a particular effect in these images ;

    Double click on its layer Thumbnail within the layers palette and then select anycolor you want apply to that image

    When done , click OK button of the Color dialog box.

    Applying Effects to custom shapes:In order to apply the particular effect to these images Double click on its Veta Mask

    Thumbnail within the layers palette and then click on any style you want on the leftside

    of the dialog box displayed.

    When done ,click OK button

    Brush Tool / Pencil ToolThis can be used to edit or design a particular image depending on your desires.

    To perform this ,

    -Insert a new layer where you want to insert tool-Right click on the Brush tool and select the tool you want and then you can set to any

    appearance you want by clicking on the arrow besides the Brushsection within the

    option bar and select the size of the brush you want and when done,- click anywhere within the area where you want to insert that design of a brush.

    Rotating Images /Text :In order to rotate a particular image or text that you have inserted

    Click on the layer contains the image or text that you want to rotate that is within the

    Layers paletteClick Edit Transform Rotate

    Move Tool

    This can be used to move a particular image or text that has been drawn within aparticular layer by

    -Clicking first on the layer containing that image or text to be moved

    -Then click on the move tool -Finally click and Drag the required image or text to the required position.

    WORKING WITH IMAGESIn this part you can use the images that are available within the computer by first opening

    the new working area and then open new layer for you to insert the image then

    Click file open Local Disk ( c ) Program files Adobe Photoshop Samples.

    When done ,click on the Title bar at the image and then Duplicate to make the copy of

    the image and from the dialog box displayed click OKbutton and when done ,close the

    original image .-Right click on the copy of the image and then click on image size to set the size of

    the image that you want (But this is not important You click Move Tool Drag.Can use

    the original size.-If you want ,make another copy of the image in orde to have more images to work with.

    Note that , these images can enable you to know how to edit and modify different ready

    made images and change the appearance of those images as you want.When done click any image you want and then open it.

    Right click on the Title Bar at the image and then Duplicate to make the copy of the

    image and from the dialog box displayed click okbutton and when done ,close the

    original image .-Right click on the copy of the image and then click on image size to set the size of the

    image that you want (But this is not important,you can use the original size ).

    -If you want, make another copy of the image in order to have more images to work

    with.-The most commonly used color image Editor menu found by Clicking Image

    Adjustmesnt Brightness/Contrast this / Saturation/Channel mixer.Also these image can be moved from the original position to any layer that you will

    insert to move them and combine them with other images or texts in order to design or

    create another new and different images

    These images can be first selected and then moved to the new layer that you have insertedby using different tools that are used to selecting and moving these images from their

    original position to the new layers that you have inserted to them.

    CHANGING IMAGE DIRECTION

    This can enable to change the direction of the selected to where direction you want.

    To perform this after inserting the required image to be changed its directionClick Image Rotate canvas select by clicking on any angle of rotation,selecting the

    image.

    Magic Wound Tool

    This allows you to select any part of the image that you want to insert within you

    Photoshop window using special tools from the tool box.Tese tools are such as :

    - Lasso tool: to insert this-click and drag to the required image area that you want to select and and when you

    reach at the start point.

    Double click to select the image-when done ,click on the Move Tool and then click and Drag the selected area to

    the new layer that you halredy inserted.

    - Polygon ToolThis can be used to select the figures that have polygonal shapes by click on the

    starting point and then move ths mouse pointer to the next point

    Eye dropper: click eye drop paint bucket color and then go until you reach the end

    point where you have to double click on the Move Tool and then click and Drag the

    selected area to the New layer that you have already used .-Magnetic Tool: This can be used to select the image you want by clicking on the

    starting point and then move the mouse point the all areas within the image where you

    want to select that image.- When you read to the starting point, Double click on that area to select the area and

    When done ,click on the Move Tool and then click and Drag the selected area to the

    new layer that you have already inserted- Crop Tool: This tool can be used to select the part of any image that you want

    To perform this

    -Click on the crop tool once and then

    - click and drag to the point of the image that you want and then-Right click inside the selected point of the image and then click Crop clicking this

    will enable to select the part of the image that you want and remove the other part that

    you didnt select

    To move the selected part of the image to the required layer , click first on the movetool then click and Drag the pmage to new layer that you have onserted.

    COPYING IMAGE FROM OTHER SOURCES

    1.Right click on the image and then click copy

    2.Then open the photoshop window where you want to insert that image

    3.Within photoshop window click Edit paste

    SAVING THE IMAGE

    1.Right click on the image and then click save Picture as2.From the dialog box displayed specify the location where you want to save that

    image and also write the name of the image

    3.when done click save

    SAVING THE IMAGE

    There are three format:I.PSD or PDD Large in size

    -It can accommodate all the layers and make them visible.

    -Hence it is editable

    ii.GIF (Graphic Interchange Format) - is small in size- It flattens the layers and makes them invisible for editing

    - Contain maximum of color 256 colors

    iii.JPEG (Joint in Picture Graphic Interface)-Small in space

    -Not editable

    -Contain more than 256 colorsThese small size formats can be used in sending pictures through attachment because

    there is no need for the receiver to edit them But their difference will be in color

    Brightness and contrast-ness.

    In order to save the files in any of the above format after creating the image, Click File

    Save.

    Clicking this will display a dialog box then- Within theSave In section of the dialog box select the location where you want

    to save that fle.

    - Within the File Name section write the name of the file .- Within the format section of the dialog box , is where you can specify the

    format that you want by clicking on the arrow besides this section and select the

    format that you want.

    MICROSOFT PUBLISHER

    Microsoft Publisher 2000 is a Desk-top publishing application ,which uses different

    publication designs already stored that you can use or create your own designeddepending on your needs.

    To start Publisher with the start menuClick on the start icon at the bottomed left hand side of your computer screen.

    .Then click on Programs

    .Then click on Microsoft Publisher

    .To start Publisher from the Desktop

    If a short cut has been created on the windows Desktop, double click on the Shortcut

    icon.When Publsher 2000 start it begins by opening what is known as the catalog.This catalog

    contain many different designs for the most commonly used types of publication, ranging

    from simple signs to complicated newsletters and brouchers

    These catalog s are such as :

    PUBLICATION BY TYPE AND PUBLICATION BY SETSThese publication types contain different patterns of publications that you can select and

    add more information and /or edit some of the images from that publication type.

    To select a particular type ,click on the arrow besides start from a design section of

    the window on the left side of the window.To select a particular type ,click on its name to view its types on the left side of the

    window each with its own preview on the right side of the window

    To select a particular preview, click once on it and wait for that publication to bedownload

    Triangles:

    When see you a triangle pointing to the right in the wizard section of the window thismeans that there are further subsections beneath.In the example shown here when you

    click on flyers you can make a further selection from the subsections

    The wizard that have diamonds next to them do not have subsections

    BLANK PUBLICATIONS

    If you are component user of Publisher 2000 you may choose to start with a blankdocument.

    To switch to the Blank Publications window

    Click on the arrow below the start from a design section in left side of the windowand then;

    .click on the blank publications.clicking this will display a window with different types of

    blank publication types on the left side of the window each with its own image on theright side of the window.

    To choose a Blank Publication TypeTo select a particular type ,click once on it and then click Nofrom thedialog box

    displayed (but this box is not always displayed in each type of publication.

    To modify the set up of the selected blank publication where needed click File Page setup.

    Clicking this will display a dialog box where you can modify its set up either by

    selecting another Publication Type of that dialog box or you can modify its width and

    height from that dialog box.Also you can change the orientation of that publication .

    When done click ok to return to the publication window.

    USING OBJECT WINDOW

    This contain different objects to work through with the particular publication.

    Then you can use any of the object from the object window in order to performdifferent actions within your publication.

    These objects are such as

    -select object

    This allow you to move any object to a different location within the publication

    -Text box

    This allows you to.write any text within the publication

    .Insert any line or page Boarder within your publication.

    Use this object , click pnce on it and then click and drag where you want to write the textand then start writing the text.

    In order to insert the Border after inserting the text box to the publication.

    Click Format - Text box

    Clicking this will display a dialog box for u to specify .

    .The present boarder style color or the Boarder Art that you want

    Boarder By click TextWhen done click OK button

    To insert a different Art Boarder from other sources , click Format Text BoxFrom the dialog box displayed , click on the Boarder Art button and then click on the

    Create Custom button .

    From the dialog box displayed remember to remove the checkmark on the use clip

    organizer to select the picture .Then click on the select picture button and then select any images will allow you to

    insert as a boarder.

    In order to remove a particular boarder , click first on the border and then Right click onthe page boarder and then click cut .

    Insert Word Art :This allow you to use any word art pattern to write any text that you want.

    To insert use these patterns.

    Click once on the Insert Word Art object .Then select any pattern then click OK .Then write your own text within the space provided and then click OK botton .

    Picture Frame

    This allows you to insert any picture that you have already saved within any savinglocation and you want to insert it in your publication .

    To use this Object:

    Click once on the Picture Frame object and then click within publication where youwant to insert that image.

    Clicking this will display a dialog box for you to select the location where you have

    saved the ( image ) you are looking for.Click on the name of the image and then click on the insert button that image .

    If you want to change the object ( image) that you have inserted Right click on the image

    then select change picture and choose any of the available options in order to insert the

    new image.

    Line ,Arrow ,Rectangle and Oval:

    In order to draw these images ,click once on the image and then click and drag the imagewithin publication.

    BUT NOT THAT if you want to insert the image that you want to type a particular

    text ,make sure you have inserted the text box before inserting the image .

    Auto shapes :

    To insert these images, click once on the image to view its categories each with its ownsub category.

    To insert particular sub category, click once on it and then click and drag to draw that

    image to your publication .BUT NOT THAT iif you want to insert the image that you

    want to type a particular text within make sure you have inserted a Text Boxon thatimage.

    Clip organizer Frame:

    This object allows you to insert a particular clip Art within your publication.

    To use this object: click once on the object clicking this will display a clip art searchwindow at the left sideof the window.

    Then within the search for section of that window write any category of the clip art that

    you know and then click on search button.

    Clicking this will display images concerning the clip art category that you have typed,Click once on the particular category and this will display that clip art category within

    your publication.

    - Then you can start editing that image.To change the clip Art image to the same or another image style

    .Right click in the centre of the selected clip Art that you want to change

    Then from the short cut menu that appears select change picture and then select fromany of the available options in order to change ( replace ) that clip Art image .

    Re-sizing objects:Any object in publisher whether it is a Text Frame or any other type of Frame can be

    resized.

    To resize an object or Frame:Select the object or Frame that you want to resize Handles will appear around the edge

    of the object. There will be one at each corner and one in the centre of each side making a

    total of eight .The corner handles and side handles behave differently. As you move your mouse cursor

    over each of the handles you will see the cursor change into one of four different Re-size

    mouse cursors.Each of the four corner handles twins the mouse into one of two

    Diagonal Risize cursors like these

    When you use the diagonal Re-size handles you are changing both height and width at

    the same time.

    When you use diagonal Re-size handles you are changing both height and width at thesame time.

    Moving Objects :Moving an object is an essentially the same as cut and paste , you can use any of the cut

    and paste methods listed in that section.

    In addition when you have selected an object and you move you are mouse over it ,you

    will notice that the cursor change into a little thick picture with the word Move Thenwhen appears that all you have to do is click and Drag on the object in order to move it to

    a new location.

    Rotate ToolThis allows you to rotate any image that you have inserted within your publication.

    In order to use this tool:-click once on the image that you want to rotate.

    -click on the Rotate tool on the standard tool bar.

    -Then use the small green circles around that image to rotate the image by clicking and

    dragging.

    Deleting an Object

    These allows you to delete any object from publication .To perform this :-Right click on the required object

    -Then click Delete Object

    Deleting a Text box:

    To perform this :

    -click any where inside the text box-Then Right click on any part of the Text Box boarder and then click cut

    Applying Attributes

    This allows you to applying different attributes within the Text that you have insertedwithin your publication.

    To perform this :

    -High light the text that you want to apply particular attribute.-click on the desired attribute icon /tool that you want to apply to the selected text .

    Inserting a New PageIf your Publication is a mult-page document you may need to insert extra pages as you go

    .

    To Insert an extra Page :

    -Click on the insert drop down menu and select the page command .The following dialog

    box will be displayed and you must respond to the questions it asks that is specifying the

    number of pages you want to insert and also the position of the inserted page( s ).-click on the OK button to go ahead with a new page .

    To move between pages :.click on page number icons displayed towards the button of the screen

    Deleting PageIf your publication is a multiple page document you may need to delete extra pages as

    you go.

    To delete unwanted Pages.click within the page number that you want to delete

    .click on the Edit menu

    .choose delete page

    Inserting Guidelines

    This allows you to insert guide lines within your publication so that you can do yourwork under defined duidelines.

    To perform this:

    .Select the publication where you want to insert the guidelines

    .Then click arrange - layout GuidesClicking this will display a dialog box for you to specify Grid Guides for column and

    rows where needed.

    .when done click OK.For example ehen you want to create a broucher

    To save as.click on the file drop down menu

    .choose save as and the same ASdialog box will be displayed.

    .click on the drop down arrow in the same inbox to browse to the location where youwant to save your publication.

    .In file menu box type a suitable file name for the publication

    .click on the same button.

    Opening Publication from the Disk :

    When you have produced documents and saved them you will want to know how to openthem up again for future use.You may also from time to time want to open files created

    by other people .This is how you do it.

    To open an Existing Publication.

    .click on the file drop down menu

    .Select an open command

    .The open publication dialog box will be displayed

    To look on a specific drive

    .click on the drop down arrow in the look in box

    .click on the drive that you want to examine .The window will then file with all the folder

    that are available to you.

    To look in a specific folder:

    .To open folder click on it .The window will change to display any files and subfolders

    within it.If you need to open a sub-folder simply click on it again .To use Save .

    .click on the file drop down menu and choose save OR click on the save icon on the tool

    bar.

    Note : If you have that already saved your document and click on the save button youwill be directed to the Save As window, so you will not be in danger of loosing your

    work, provided you can care file to specify a meaningful name and location that is logical

    .

    INTRODUCTION 2 PAGE MAKER

    PAGE MAKER Is very powerfull desktop publishing software.

    .Is used to create things like newsletter magazines , business cards etc

    .click on the start button on the desktop-Select programs

    -Select Adobe

    -select Adobe Page maker(6.5/7.0)Click on the window menu.

    Select the Palette you want to show or hide

    e.g.Tool palette (toolbar)

    .Contol palette

    .Colors palette

    .Style palette

    .Layers palette

    .Master page palette

    .Hyper links palette

    On the file menu

    -Select New-On the dialog box

    Specifying page size, e.g A4 letter .

    -Specify page orientantation e.g. Tab .-Set the Page options e.g. double sided

    -Set number of pages you want to start on your publication.

    .Specify margins

    .Specify target output resolution on in ( dpi ) dots per inch

    NB:The higher the dpi the better the printing qualityof the publication.

    Only custom option allows you to define your own page size.Finally select printer where you want to print from

    When click OK

    There are two options for viewing the particular publication windowi.Actual view

    ii.Fit in window view

    iii.Zoom options view

    Publication window views( continued ). Inorder to display window in any of the views

    above.Right click on the window and then select any of the available view options to display

    your publication window.

    Changing the publication setup :Click on the file menu

    Select document setupModify the publication e.g Number of pages ,orientation ,start page ,N umber format etc.

    Click OK.

    Page maker allows you to draw basic shapes in your publication.The selection tool (pointer) :is used to select any object in your layout and also to move

    an objects.

    The text tool : is used for creating text.Rotation tool: is used to rotate objects on your page

    Crop tool : Is used to crop ( remove ) part of the image (picture ).

    The hand Tool : Is used to move the page around in your application windowZoom Tool :you can zoom in (up to 400% ) and out (down to 25% ) on your layout.

    Line Tool :Is used to create lines in your layout.

    Rectangle ,Oval ,Polygon Tools : are used to create rectangles ,ellipse ,star ,polygon.If you want a perfect square ,circle or proportional polygon, hold down SHIFT Key while

    drawing your object.

    Creating a drawn object ,Rectangle ,ellipse ,line

    .select thhe appropriate tool.

    .click and drag in the publication to draw it.

    .High light the text using the mouse or press CTRL +A .

    .Format the text using control palette or type and then select any formatting feature you

    want to apply to text ( Font ,Size ,style,Color ,Alignment etc ).Apply color to the text by clicking on the color you want from the colors palette

    .After formatting click on the pointer tool and select the text by clicking on it

    .Resize the Text block by dragging on the handles to fit the text ..Drag the text object to move it to the desired place .

    Creating a Polygon.Go to element menu

    .Select Polygon settings

    .specify number of sides e.g 3,6,7

    .specify o on the star .inset

    .click OK

    .Select the polygon tool

    .click and drag to create an object in the publication

    Create a star :

    .Create the polygon to your publication

    .Then go to Element menu

    .Make sure you are within the Publication contains the text

    .Specifying a wrapping option from the available options

    Inserting Images on Adobe Page Maker :Autoshapes

    -create any autoshape you want in MS word add text and apply any format attributes youwant.

    -Then right click on any Attribute you want to move to the Page Maker program and then

    select cut or copy

    Then move to the Page Maker and then click where you want to insert the Image-Then select Paste from the edit menu

    Inserting Images in the Adobe Page MakerClip Arts

    .While you are within the Ms Word Program right click on any subcategory of the clip

    Shifting a Text

    This allows you to shift the text that has been exceded within a particular column orpublication.

    To perform this

    Click within the text area that has been overflow using the pointer tool

    .Then click on the Red arrow(grid)at the bottom of the columnthat has been overflow

    .Then click and Drag where you want to place the text that has been overflow

    Tuning Autoflow on/off

    Autoflow command is used to flow text automatically after clicking on the publicationuntil the cut of the text is reached

    .Before inserting the text that you want to place within the publication ;click on the layout

    menu.click on Autoflow to turn it ON/OFF

    .The tick will appear it Autoflow is on and if it is off no tick will appear beside the

    Autoflow command on layout menu.Then place the text that you want from another Program e.g MS word ,using normal

    procedures

    .Then click once within the publication to insert the whole text

    Delete a Text

    .clickk anywhere within the text that you want to delete until you see the boarder around

    that text..Then press Delete key to delete that text

    Using Master PageAnything you will write in a master page will appear in everypage within your

    publication e.g Titles, Dates , Page numbers etc.

    Formatting a Text on a Table

    .Select Alls with text you want to format

    Returning to Page Maker Publication

    -On Adobe Table window ,click on a File menu.Click on exit and return to (it display a Publication name)

    .To resize or move the Table within the Publication,you can use normal procedures
