GB Machines – your trusted partner with extensive experienceGB Machines GmbH & Co. KG was founded in the summer of 2012. The extensive experience and know-how of the two founders, Ludger Glaap and Fritz Brinkmann (who lend the company its name) constitute the true essence of the company. Ludger Glaap has been working with the construction materials industry since the 80s and is particularly versed in machine technology. Mr Fritz Brinkmann has dedicated his professional life since the 60s to the development and production of screed machines. A qualified team from the fields of technology, sales, production and service supports the two managing directors.

Philosophy – Customer service and proximityThe screed sector is largely composed of SMEs and the sector now has a strong new player in the form of GB Machines GmbH & Co. KG. GB Machines has an excellent range of modern, highly developed and practical machines, which alleviates much of the heavy work done on construction sites. The company philosophy states that reliable, high-performance and operationally safe screed machines are not the only things required to significantly alleviate workloads in the screed industry. GB Machines GmbH & Co. KG also understands its role as a service partner, with the objective of supporting its customers with advice and assistance. A versatile range of special designs, maintenance and technical support ensures that GB Machines’ customers always have the best and most economical work method and the characteristic long service life of its machines.

Screed machine development with enhanced practical knowledgeWhen designing new screed machines, GB Machines GmbH & Co. KG relies on its wealth of experience and carefully considers the requests for improvement offered by people who work with these machines day in and day out. Sales and customer service staff maintain close ties with processors and make sure that customer opinions and special requests are incorporated into future developments. Some of the factors that contribute to GB Machines’ typical reliability and high performance of its range include high-quality components; excellent material quality and professional manufacturing in well-equipped, modern production centres that incorporate continuous quality control. We also conduct regular practical training sessions directly on construction sites for industry staff, with the objective of increasing the efficiency of the screed machines of GB Machines.

MIXMAN IN DETAILThanks to the extensive experience of our engineers and technicians as well as the intensive contact we maintain with users, we were able to design the MIXMAN according to the needs and conditions of the construction site. This is why the MIXMAN is perfectly adapted to the respective circumstances experienced at construction sites. Performance, reliability and safety are three of MIXMAN’s most important qualities.

Feeder and TankThe model with a feeder saves valuable work time and avoids downtime on the construction site.

Air filterThe air filter is designed so that dirt and airborne debris are filtered out. Easy filter replacement is also possible any time.

Upper and lower airThe stable flow of air from above and below guarantees continuous and trouble-free conveying.

RELIABLEThanks to the high quality components used and robust manufacturing of the MIXMAN, this machine is very reliable in operation. The increased wear protection that has been implemented makes the MIXMAN an extremely economical machine. Due to the thoughtful planning during its construction, the replacement of spare parts has been simplified as much as possible. This enables prompt and seamless installation of standardised spare parts. Your MIXMAN is sure to be back in service in no time with this practical system.

POWERFULOwing to the MIXMAN’s built-in diesel motor, or the electric motor used in the electric model, the MIXMAN has plenty of power to offer. Depending on the model (D4 or D5), the MIXMAN has a 3 or 4-cylinder diesel motor. The compressor from ATLAS COPCO, which is built into the MIXMAN ensures its high delivery capacity. The MIXMAN D4 approx. 4.3 m3 to 4.9 m3 at approx. 7 bars delivery pressure. MIXMAN D5 approx. 5.2 m3 at approx. 7 bars delivery pressure.

SAFEA smooth flow of operations on the construction site is one of the key factors in using machines. This not only includes the machine’s reliability, but also the user’s safety. The MIXMAN fulfils all applicable safety standards. The new automatic power cut-off is only a small part of the whole newly designed safety package. Because your safety is our topmost priority!

EFFICIENTGB’s engineers have further optimised the MIXMAN. It reflects a balance between performance and energy consumption. This allows more consistent pump performance with very little impact on the hose. The MIXMAN’s efficiency allows you to save fuel and other resources, thereby lowering your company’s operating costs.

Support wheelsThe new automatic support wheels from GB Machines allows for a simple folding in of the support wheels. Our supplier BPW is a leader in axles for heavy good vehicles.

HOODThe double-shelled hood is very well soundproofed, while the large air intake provides plenty of fresh air. The robust construction impresses with its long service life.

MOTORThe MIXMAN is fitted only with DEUTZ quality motors. You can see the engine options on the following page.

DRAWBARThe drawbar is height adjustable and forms a homogeneous unit with the pulling system from BPW that is patented in Germany.

AIR FLOWThe optimised air intake duct allows for a significantly better delivery time.

MACHINE MODELS - DYNAMICThe dynamic version offers you a performance boost. Especially when negotiating long distances or differences in elevations, the dynamic version is the right choice. With the power regulation in the Dynamic version, you can increase the rpm and have the required additional power.

START-STOP AUTOMATIC MODEThe start-stop automatic mode works similarly to the one employed in the automotive industry. During longer idle periods, the MIXMAN shuts down automatically, which saves on energy costs and conserves the material being processed. The feature can also be switched off at any time.

MIXMAN D4B/D5B

The MIXMAN D4 and the MIXMAN D5 in the standard version. The mixer is filled by pouring the material through the funnel above the mixer. The mixer can only be refilled once the previously filled material has been processed.

The MIXMAN D4B and the MIXMAN D5B have a hydraulic feeder. The feeder’s larger filling opening makes filling easier and, using a funnel, precise filling of the mixer is possible. This saves a good deal of time and energy. While the mixer is processing the poured material, the feeder can be filled simultaneously.

MIXMAN E4/B/BS

The MIXMAN D4BS and the MIXMAN D5BS also have the scrapper in addition to the feeder. Using the scrappers, filling the feeder is greatly facilitated. This involves a winch to draw the selected material directly into the feeder, thereby optimising the workflow and sparing time and energy in the process.

The MIXMAN as an electric design runs entirely on electricity and has a strong electric motor. A significant advantage in this is your savings on diesel costs, which can be completely avoided. Noise emissions are also very low. The MIXMAN E4 comes in the standard design, with feeder (MIXMAN E4B)and with feeder and scrapper (MIXMAN E4BS).
