ABC Education Initiative• Attendance, Behavior and Classroom success
• Obtain Parent permission for all data collection.
• BBBSEMO staff work with district staff to collect data electronically
• Collect Data 4 Times a Year- once each quarter
• Complete analysis and help identify the students that are succeeding and those at risk of failing
SLPS Expansion Project• 1,600 Children served by 2013! A 3 Year
plan to double the children served in SLPS!
• 2010: Current BBBS schools that became Impact Schools (Adams, Cole, Columbia, Dunbar and Langston)
•2011: Expanding to 2 new Impact Schools in September:
Lyon @ BlowSigel Elementary
• 2012-2013: More expansion planned
In the Impact Schools……
• One BBBS staff member is assigned to each school.
• The staff member is embedded in the school and works in partnership with principals and teachers.
