Camps are for children ages 5-8 who do not have significant language delays. In addition to fun camp activities, kids in the summer group will develop social thinking, social communication, cooperative play, group learning skills and flexibility. August 1 st - August 5 th This year we will offer a weeklong school preparation group for kids entering Kindergarten or first grade. We will practice transitions, routines, centers, circle time, independent work, sharing, social and other school skills. The week-long camps and school prep programs are from 9:00-12:30 each day and are $30/hour*. 12:00-12:30 is lunch bunch! *Those with insurance coverage can contact us about rates. Embrace provides dynamic and safe social groups, tutoring, therapy, and home school support programs throughout the year for children ages 3-16. Embrace celebrates the unique and individual differences of children with autism and their families. Utilizing evidence-based practices, Embrace combines the expertise of a transdisciplinary staff to provide individualized and comprehensive services. All programs at Embrace maintain at least a 1:3 staff to student ratio. The staff is comprised of a psychologist, speech pathologist, educators, and board certified behavior analysts (BCBA). Instructors are required to have a college degree and be a Registered Behavior Technician or BCaBA. Wednesdays 2:00-3:30 Fitness Friends: A group for ages 7-12 who are developing skills in communication with peers, initiating and joining play activities, and responding to physical and athletic engagement. Thursdays 1:00-3:00 Young Adults: For ages 18-28 working on transitions to adulthood including organization, work skills, money, and relationship skills.
