By the date of August 1, 2009, the Recorder's office of Lee Countywill:

1. Ensure that all members of our staff who have theresponsibility of recording documents or searching andviewing document records, wi}] be fully trained to identifysocial security numbers, both in cunent documents that aresubmitted for recording and in documents that have beenscanned into the Recorder's office imaging system. Thistraining will include instmction in how to protect theconfidentiality of these social security numbers.

2. Ensure that only staff members who have been trained asnoted in number 1 above shall be pel111ittedaccess to anyrecords that may contain social security numbers.

CERNED ABOUT THE BUDGET, LAYOFFS, NO RAISES AND FURLOUGH DAYS. SHE RECOMMENDED

PERHAPS THE BOARD COULD LOHER THE LINE ITEM FOR PER DIEM. HOLD A FEW LESS MEETINGS

OR HAVE FEWER MEMBERS ON A CO~~ITTEE. THAT IS SOMETHING THE BOARD COULD DO TO

WHEREAS, the passage of this Resolution shall not impose any liability upon Lee

County.

WHEREAS, Enterprise Zone federal funds called Recovery Zone Bonds may become

available w Lee County for amounts up to but not exceeding $2,484,000 for public infrastructureprojects from the Recovery Zone Economic Development.

WHEREAS, this bond project \Yould bring favorable financing and tax considerations topotential projects.

WHEREAS, in tbe event Lee Coullty cbooses nOI to participate, this Resolution in noway obligates Lee County to any financial exposure.
