Before creating a lesson, lets look at the great tools available on Mimio. This is the screen you see when you first open Mimio. We are going to look at the buttons at the top of the page.

1. Open Mimio Notebook (from Start- Programs or Shortcuts)

2. Play around with the pen, highlighter, and eraser.

3.  Insert a shape, fill it with a color, rotate, resize, and move

4. Insert a text box and type a sentence. Change the font style, size,

and color.

5. Insert a new page.

6. Import an existing document from your computer (Insert > File)

7.  Mark up the document with a pen & highlighter

8.  Insert a picture or video (Insert > File)
