Piloting Process Teachers pilot for two quarters.
Each teacher communicates on a regular basis with a partner who pilots the other publisher.
All piloting teachers come together periodically, calibrate their numbers, and hand in individual scores.

from both the Science adoption Toolkit and Math Adoption Toolkit.
The texts from the two publishers were evaluated comparatively in a side-by-side manner.
Content and assessment were the two categories evaluated.
