Goal 2: Work with the Curriculum Facilitator to identify and recruit 20 schools

1) Collaborate with the District to identify 20 schools in clusters (4 feeder Primary Schools to 1 High School)

2) Meet with the SMTs & staff of each school to explain the support partnership agreement

3) Offer to support the schools & get buy-in from the schools

4) Get the schools to agree to and sign the partnership agreement

Goal 3: Work with the Curriculum Facilitator to conduct a Learner Baseline Study in all 20 schools

1) Support the Curriculum Facilitator to arrange the assessments in Grades 3, 6 & 9 at each of the 20

2) Assist CF with administering the baseline assessments in Grades, 3, 6 & 9 in all 20 schools

3) Familiarize yourself with the CF’s diagnostic reports in order to be aware of the Curriculum challenges faced by each school

4) Participate in the CF’s diagnostic feedback reports workshops aimed at identifying common curriculum challenges and areas requiring support, particularly with regard to curriculum management

Goal 4: Work with the Curriculum Facilitator to conduct a School Functionality Baseline Study in all 20 schools Use PMET’s School Functionality Interview & Observation Schedule to determine each school’s levels of functionality in the implementation of:

1) Roles & responsibilities

2) Values, attitudes & practices (Batho Pele Principles)

3) Key policies: CAPS, IQMS, WSE, PAM, NNSSF

4) Curriculum management

- Prepare diagnostic reports for each school

- Provide diagnostic feedback to each cluster of schools

Goal 5: Work with the Curriculum Facilitator to conduct a School Needs Analysis in all 20 schools Use the Needs Analysis Questionnaire to supplement the baseline studies to determine the school support needs of each school.

Goal 6: Work with the Curriculum Facilitator and the 20 schools to develop a 3-year school support programme for each cluster of schoolsFocus on:

1) Roles & responsibilities

2) Values, attitudes & practices (Batho Pele Principles)

3) Key policies: CAPS, IQMS, WSE, PAM, NNSSF

4) Curriculum management

5) Annual diagnostic reviews of school functionality with the emphasis on curriculum management

Goal 7: Work with the R&D Director & Management Facilitator to prepare quarterly reports

- Prepare quarterly progress reports for the District Director and each school

3. Report to Directors on all project progress

Goal 9: Fulfil professional and administrative reporting procedures:

1) Submit Weekly Reports by 15h00 on Friday afternoons

2) Submit Monthly Performance Review Reports by 15h00 on the last Friday of each month

3) Submit all monthly administrative documents

4) Participate in Quarterly Performance Review meetings with the R&D Director

4. Operate within budget + all policy procedures

Goal 10: Operate within budget + all policy procedures:

1) Work within specified project budgets and keep detailed records of all expenses incurred.

2) Provide evidence of all expenses for monthly cell phone, master card diaries, petrol card and logs, ADSL allowances

3) Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed in using Trust facilities and resources (cell phone, laptop and company credit card, petrol card and petty cash allocations).

4) Ensure that company policies and procedures are followed in all work activities.
