METHOD STATEMENTS FOR PLAIN CEMENT CONCRETE (PCC)

PURPOSE:

Establish a uniform, predetermined and controlled methodology for various activities related to lean

Concrete.

Minimize the errors.

Control of nonconformance. Provide proper guidelines to execute the job.

SCOPE: Establish the quality of materials, mixing, placing etc. of all type of lean concrete work to be carried

out at site. The procedure is subject to revision depending upon the actual practical requirement at site at the time of job. This procedure also includes the methodology of record keeping.

REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: 1. Good For Construction Drawing.

2. Contract Document Client.

3. Method Statements.

4. Specification if any

Major Area of Pcc : Phase-1(A,B,C&D), Phase-2(E,F,G&H) 1. Tower Area Footings 2. Podium Area Footings. 3. UG sump/STP. 4. Retaining Wall. 5. Grade Slab.

DETAIL ACTION PLAN:

1. Before starting the lean concrete work all the materials such as, aggregates etc. has to be

tested either at field or at approved lab.

2. Layout of structure shall be marked as per drawing.

3. After checking of bottom level of PCC/ excavation level PCC shall be laid as per specification.

4. Our Concerned Engineer shall enter checking of the top level of PCC and its record in the format.

5. Mixing of concrete will be done in Batching plant. The mixing time will be such that all

the ingredients mix properly. 6. Immediately after mixing, the concrete will be transported by transit mixers & shall be placed at the required locations.

TOOLS USED: 1. Transit Mixer.

2. Solider Channel For Side Shuttering of PCC.

CONCLUSION:

1. Check List Kept Ready for Footing Rebar Work with all approval.

ENCLOSURE:

1. Survey setting Lay-out (CL-01).

2. Pour card Check List (CL-03).
