The Ontario Hospital Association (OHA), in partnership with the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division and Addictions and Mental Health Ontario is pleased to present this unique one-day conference on mental health, chaired by Carol Lambie, President and Chief Executive Officer of Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. This conference will explore current innovations in identifying and managing a range of mental health issues.

A self-described recovering politician, George Smitherman has been active in politics at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels including service as Ontario’s first openly gay MPP, a cabinet minister, a Deputy Premier, and finally a candidate for Toronto Mayor.

In the community, Smitherman is dedicating himself to the Casey House Capital Campaign that will include a memorial honouring Christopher Peloso, George’s late husband.
