MUKHYAMANTRI AMRUTUM YOJANA

INTRODUCTION

District health society, Ahmedabad has organized a mega health camp on 6 th of April 2013 at General Hospital, Sola under the Chairmanship of DDO Honorable Banchanidhi Paniji. Camp was supported by AMC & District also. 5private hospital has taken the participation for the camp and they have provided their specialist doctors to support in the camp. It was a general Camp specially organized for the MA beneficiary. The motive of the camp was to provide the awareness, education and introduction to the most of the people regarding the MA Yojana and benefits of the MA cards for the BPL families. Chief guest were Honorable Nitinbhai Patel The health minister. It was a huge success that total more than Ten Thousand people have visited the General Hospital, Sola from that 5436 was registered in single day through 16 counter of MA Yojana and 94 patient was referred to the Ma Yojana empanelled hospital for the treatment under Ma Yojana. More than 100 cards were issued at the mega health camp and more cards are distributed to the beneficiary of Ma cards. At the end we have finished this camp with good memories and hard work tried a lot to give the acknowledgment to the BPL families and more people got information about the Ma Yojana.

OBJECTIVES

The objective behind the camp was to screen patients, diagnosis & provides necessary drugs. Patients, who were cover under different health scheme, refer them to nearest hospital for further treatment.

Mainly focus on Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana. In that territory there were many BPL Families, who cannot afford costly tertiary care treatment. In camp screened them and refer to nearest empanelled hospital.

Also focus on new enrolment of MA beneficiaries and given the information to other people how they can make their MA cards by going to the related Taluka Heath Offices.

VENUE

In order to cover large number of population General hospital, Sola was selected. Sola is district place of Ahmedabad. It was observed that number of people came easily to camp from nearest villages.

IEC ACTIVITIES

Around 15 to 20 days before the camp the General hospital team, PHCs, CHCs, Asha workers, FHW started visiting local areas. The aim was to mobilize and disseminate information about the Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana to be undertaken during the Mega Health Camp & different health schemes. The mobilization was done with help of following activities.

Door to Door distribution of printed MA card & make awareness of MAY with help of Asha workers and Link worker.

Distribution of Pamphlets and Booklets. Displayed hording at the public places. Public meetings with help of FHW & Asha workers. Newspaper advertisement in deferent newspaper on 2nd, April. Mike announcement in each village with 4 private vehicles.

PRE MEGA CAMP MEETING WITH COMMITTEE

On 5th of April 2013 we had a pre Mega health camp meeting for the rehearsal of Mega health camp as it was our dedication to finish this camp to give huge successes. DDO sir has asked all the participants to come for the Pre Mega HealthCamp Meeting so that we can understand and develop all the system to help the BPL people for the mega health camp. In the morning we have visited the sola hospital and showed the preparation what we have done for the mega health camp to the State Nodal Cell persons and DDO sir. All four district (Ahmedabad, Surendranagar, Kheda and Anand) staff with their all Arogya Mitra has attend the meeting. There we have discussed about the role and responsibility of all MDIndia Staff for the mega health camp. All the staff got the idea for the future to organize a health camp. We have appointed one Arogya Mitra to the one specialty doctor in different room. All the Arogya Mitra has given the room according to the specialty. All the Arogya Mitra was asked to come with their Apron and the entire operation executive were asked to come and coordinate with the Arogya Mitra regarding the stationery
