FALL PUMPKIN - 8" x 10" Acrylic

This gorgeous acrylic painting of a Fall Pumpkin was painted by Judy Smith, an experienced art teacher.

The painting clearly shows thick paint application of light,medium and dark tones for highlights and shadows. When teaching, Judy feels it is important to build student confidence in an appealing, relaxed manner. Judy teaches color mixing theory and basic drawing using images as visual references.

Judy received a B.A. in Art and M.Ed. in Special Education from Bridgewater State University. She is an experienced Arts Educator licensed by DESE in Art, Music, and Special /Gifted Education, designing art eduction programs for students of all ages both in and out of school.

Medway Community Education is a self-sustaining department of the Medway Public Schools. The department provides year-round learning and enrichment programs. The programs support social, academic and physical growth for children and adults in Medway and surrounding communities.

INTRODUCTION TO INTERIOR DESIGN Are you a creative person with an eye for design? If so, this course will show you how to transform plain living spaces into beautiful and functional rooms. Interior design takes training as well as talent, and these lessons will give you the know-how you need to design a room from floor to ceiling. INTRODUCTION TO PYTHON 3 PROGRAMMINGThe Python programming language was developed to provide a way to develop code that's easy to create and understand. It contains the same basic structures as other languages, it also offers unique functionality that makes your life as a programmer easier.This course will show you how to create basic programming structures like decisions and loops. Then, you will move on to more advanced topics such as object-oriented programming with classes and exceptions. MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY A Word Association Approach CourseThis course will teach you to understand medical terminology as it pertains to each body system. Learning blocks are used to condense information and to help isolate what you need to know verses what is nice to know, and you will be provided with fun and unusual facts to help you remember the medical terminology in unique ways. TERRIFIC TWOSTerrific Twos is a unique program developed for the younger preschool child. This program enhances socialization and hands-on learning of two and three-year-olds in a small group setting. Music, movement, stories, projects and free play are incorporated into a fun-filled morning.

Classes meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 21, 2021 through May 26, 2022. Each regularly scheduled class runs from 9:00-11:30am. There is a maximum of 10 children with two teachers in this program. The Terrific Twos classroom is located in the Burke wing of the Burke -Memorial School.

Enrollment Age: • Children must turn two years old before September 2021 • Children must turn three years old after December 2021 • If your child turns three between September and December, he/she is eligible for a three

year old preschool program

A portion of this preschool class also allows the dancers to be able to freely experience their own moving body and find joy in dancing. ONLINE REGISTRATION & PAYMENT (preferred method)1. Visit www.medwayschools.org. Select Community Education from the schools menu. Select the link

for Online Registration: FamilyID and login or sign up.

2. Select a program, then select course under Sections.

3. Complete Registration Information and select the Save and Continue button.

4. Click the Submit button to pay electronically or by check. Once registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from FamilyID.

5. Payment is required to complete the registration.

• Credit Card/Debit Card – UniPay Gold accepts American Express, Discover and MasterCard credit (fee applied), MasterCard debit and ACH. Click the Unipay Gold link (https://unipaygold.unibank.com) in the email confirming registration.

• Check – mail to Medway Community Education, 16 Cassidy Lane, Medway, MA 02053; reference course in memo section for accurate processing. Medway Community Education office must receive the check within 5 days of registering.

6. A registration without payment does not hold a spot in a class or program.

PAPER REGISTRATION & CHECK1. Make check payable to Medway Community Education.

2. Mail registration and check to 16 Cassidy Lane, Medway, MA 02053, or hand deliver registration and check to the Burke-Memorial School Main Office, 16 Cassidy Lane – Monday-Friday – between the hours of 7:30am-4:00pm. The Community Education office is open for extended hours until 5:00pm.

3. Once registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from FamilyID.

Returned checks will incur a $25 fee payable to the Town of Medway and collected by the Town Treasurer.

FALL PUMPKIN - 8" x 10" Acrylic

This gorgeous acrylic painting of a Fall Pumpkin was painted by Judy Smith, an experienced art teacher.

The painting clearly shows thick paint application of light,medium and dark tones for highlights and shadows. When teaching, Judy feels it is important to build student confidence in an appealing, relaxed manner. Judy teaches color mixing theory and basic drawing using images as visual references.

Judy received a B.A. in Art and M.Ed. in Special Education from Bridgewater State University. She is an experienced Arts Educator licensed by DESE in Art, Music, and Special /Gifted Education, designing art eduction programs for students of all ages both in and out of school.
