PALI Science Camp ! What is it?

An amazing science sleep-away camp for McKinley 5th Grade students! The students and their teachers travel to Pali Camp in the San Bernardino mountains for three days of science fun! When is it? Monday, March 30 - Wednesday, April 1, 2019

Parent Info Night: Tuesday September 24th @ 6:00 PM in the Auditorium Join us for a Pali Institute presentation about the camp and Q & A. Students who attend the meeting should be supervised by their parents.

McKINLEY BACKPACK FOOD PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS IN NEED

The Back Pack Program's mission is to help alleviate child hunger by providing nutritious and easy to prepare non-perishable food items for the weekend when school-sponsored breakfasts and lunches are not available. Students in the program are discretely given a bag of food which is tucked into their backpacks on Friday afternoons. The program primarily targets students who qualify for the Free Lunch Program, or have a high-needs situation. Be aware that this form is confidential, and only the McKinley office staff and classroom teacher will be aware of who is participating in the program. PTA sponsors this program and parent volunteers prepare the food bags (PTA does not know who participates). We here at McKinley are proud to have this opportunity to support our families.
