Overview

Ministry of communication and IT is decided to bring some changes Based on announced project of Design, Equipment Supply and Installation of Disaster Recovery Site (DR site) for Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) for better designing of the project and the infrastructure of mentioned site to fulfill the requirements discussed further by the expert team members of the MCIT. The changes will be adding and removing of some equipment along with its specification mentioned in the table below. it’s requested from all the bidders to follow the amendment and update themselves with new requirement.

Bellow items are changed and removed from the list of goods and equipment

Item 16: quantity of the racks changed from 5 to 1

Item 21: private cloud appliance is replaced to 8 compute node

Item 20: two servers removed from the list of goods and equipment

Item 7: Power cabling is changed from 25 to 4 rack and avr cable changed to 5x50 DB to UPS

item 1: quantity is one UPS of 90 kva

maintenance is required for one year.

below specification is new and complete to be followed.

The proposed system should have “double knock” control system for the discharge of gas in case of any emergency;

The FM200 cylinder should have its own built-in pressure safety relief valves and shall also be equipped with pressure gauge to indicate the pressure of its content.

The FM200 should protect individual zone. Each zone should cover the above false ceiling layer and under raised floor layer.

The proposed solutions should also have warning light and warning signs in case of any emergency.

The proposed solutions should meet the requirement of international standard, manufacturer’s specification and also to meet the local law.
