Red Hat is
spearheading the
enterprise adoption of open
source
Red Hat became the first open source
company to cross the USD 2 billion mark in revenue
in 2016. In 2021, the market addressability of Red Hat's
products will be USD 73 billion, which is almost a tenfold
increase from 2005, spanning across OS, middleware, cloud and
infrastructure management, PaaS, virtualization, storage, NFV, SDN, etc.
The pervasiveness of Red Hat is indicated by the fact that 100 percent of airlines,
telecoms, healthcare companies and commercial banks in the Fortune Global 500 rely on
Red Hat.
Lite OS could be Microsoft's answer to Google's Chrome OSRumours of a Microsoft equivalent to the well established Chrome OS have been making rounds on the internet for a few weeks now. It
has been referred to in the past as "Windows Lite". Brad Sams of Petri believes Microsoft's new operating system will be called Lite
OS and is currently codenamed "Santorini". Microsoft is reportedly working very hard to bring the software out as soon as
possible. When it releases, Lite OS will target Chromebooks, which are mostly entry level laptops that run Chrome OS.
Though Lite OS is expected to be launched as a standalone operating system for PCs with basic specifications, it
is believed to share its core with Windows. The Petri writer went so far as to develop a mockup of Lite OS' user
interface. "The mockup I created at the top of this post is an accurate portrayal of what the OS looks like
in its current iteration. Despite the updated UI, the OOBE (Out of Box Experience) is still similar to
that of Windows 10," writes Sams.
While it may appear as if Microsoft is splitting its Windows 10 operating system into two
streams (one for light users and another for heavy users), Sams is convinced that
that is not the case. Lite OS will eventually cover most of the functionality
found in Windows 10 today. Lite OS is predicted to run only Universal
Windows Platform (UWP) apps and Progressive Web Apps
(PWAs) at the moment but may include support for traditional
Win32 applications in the future.
Microsoft is working hard to make many traditional
Win32 applications UWP apps. With any
luck, laptops under the Rs 25,000 mark
could ship with Lite OS in the near
future instead of DOS or
Linux.
Razer launches new Blade Pro 17 alongside impressive Blade 15 refresh
The speeds and feeds
Alongside the announcements of new high-power mobile CPUs from Intel
and new mobile Nvidia 16-series GPUs, Razer has launched its own new
products. These come in the form of new Razer Blade Pro 17 and a mid-
2019 refresh to its Razer Blade 15 line.
The update to the Razer Blade Pro 17 has been some time coming, and the
new model enjoys some considerable changes. The bezels around the
screen are trimmed down dramatically, allowing for a smaller overall
chassis size while keeping the large screen. The trackpad has also been
moved to sit below the keyboard instead of to the side of it.
Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan says the new Blade Pro 17 is "the perfect laptop
for gamers who demand a large display, an insane amount of connectivity
options and excellent performance with no room for compromise."
The new Razer Blade Pro 17 comes powered by the new Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor (CPU) paired with the
choice of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070 Max-Q, or RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics processor (GPU). The laptop
boasts 16GB of DDR4-2,667MHz memory, though users can swap in Intel XMP-compatible DIMMs with speeds up to
3,200MHz.
In terms of storage, every model comes with 512GB of PCIe SSD storage and an empty M.2 slot for extra storage by
default. Each drive slot can support up to 2TB of storage.
For ports and wireless, the Razer Blade Pro 17 includes a 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI 2.0b, a UHS-III SD card reader
and five USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports with three using Type-A connections and two using Type-C connections. One of the Type-C
ports also supports Thunderbolt 3. Beyond the Ethernet, the laptop also supports the new Wi-Fi 6 standard.
The 17.3-inch display on the Razer Blade Pro uses a Full HD matte panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 100% coverage of
the sRGB color space.
How to delete your Instagram account forever Or just disable it for a little while
There comes a day when you want to delete Instagram – perhaps you're over
looking at beach pics, photos of smashed avocado on toast and endless accounts
dedicated to pet cats. You could just take a break from the 'gram, but you might
want to delete your entire Instagram account, which is quite a nuclear option.
You're given the option of disabling your account for a set amount of time too, so
in the following guide we'll show you how to delete your Instagram account
permanently, or how to disable your Instagram account for a while.
If you want to take a short break from Instagram, you can disable your account
instead of permanently deleting it.Doing this means people won't be able to find
your account, look at your photos or message you, but it also means you can one
day bring your account back to life if you ever get the urge to get back on that
Instagram train. To do this, you'll need to head to the browser version of Instagram, as it's not possible within either the
iOS or Android apps. So head to a browser on your phone, tablet or desktop computer and sign in here with your
account details. Then you'll want to press the person icon in the top right and then press “Edit Profile”. You'll then need
to scroll down the page and press "Temporarily disable my account.” You'll need to give a reason for leaving to be able to
disable your account and the form will ask you for your password one last time, just to check it's still you using it. You'll
then be able to press the button and disable your account.
Sign in with your account information, where it will then allow you to reactivate your account.
Be warned, if you go through with these steps you'll be deleting your Instagram account for good. There is no returning
to your Instagram account after you've done this.
To delete your Instagram permanently, you'll want to head to this page, where you'll be asked to log in to continue.
You'll then need to select a reason for why you'd like to delete your account and then it will give you the option to get rid
of it forever. If you press that button your account will be gone for good, so proceed with caution.

Canon EOS RP Budget Full-Frame Mirrorless Camera Now Available in India
Just a couple of weeks ago, Canon officially took the wraps of its budget full-frame camera the EOS RP and it hasn't
taken Canon long to launch it in India. With sales starting from February
27, the Canon EOS RP can now be purchased in India for Rs. 1,10,495 for
only the body or you can get it with the RF24-105mm f/4 IS USM lens for
Rs. 1,99,490. This camera competes for a spot with some of the premium
APS-C cameras such as the Sony A6500, Fujifilm X-T3 and even some of
the older Sony Alpha full-frame cameras such as the A7 II, which can still
be found in the mar-ket.
USB 3.2 With 20Gbps Data Transfer Rate Coming to Desktop PCs This Year: ReportUSB 3.2, which is capable of 20Gbps data speed, is finally ready to hit the market. According to an online report, the
first desktop PCs with the new standard should reach the stores sometime later this year. USB-Implementers Forum
(USB-IF), the organisation that develops the USB standard, has also released the branding details for the revision,
including the rebranding of USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2. The USB 3.2
specification was first announced back in July 2017 as an incremental update
that defines multi-lane op-eration for new USB 3.2 hosts and devices.
According to a report in AnandTech, the first USB 3.2 chips should arrive on high-
end motherboards around this summer, whereas the peripherals with USB 3.2
support are not expected until 2020.
The USB 3.2 standard brings the support to use two high-speed USB Type-C Tx/Rx
channels to get the 20Gbps speed via a compatible USB Type-C cable. The USB 3.2 is also backward compatible with
all exist-ing products. However, the introduction of USB 3.2 also adds a lot of confusion around how the USB specifi-
cations are named as USB-IF is rebranding the USB 3.1 Gen 1 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 to USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 3.2 Gen 2.
The actual USB 3.2 with 20Gbps speed will be called USB 3.2 Gen 2×2, the USB-IF re-vealed in updated branding
guidelines on its website. When USB 3.0 was announced, it was pretty straightforward with a USB 3.0 connection you
would get 5Gbps transfer rates in ideal conditions. However, when USB 3.1 came along, USB-IF decided to rebrand
USB 3.0 to USB 3.1 Gen 1 and the newer specification with 10Gbps speed was dubbed USB 3.1 Gen 2. Now, with USB
3.2, USB-IF is further muddying the waters and the specification with 5Gbps speed that was originally called USB 3.0
will now be dubbed as USB 3.2 Gen 1 and 10Gbps will be dubbed as USB 3.2 Gen 2. The marketing names though are
comparably simpler, USB 3.2 Gen 1 will be called SuperSpeed USB, USB 3.2 Gen 2 will be called SuperSpeed USB
10Gbps and USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 gets the SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps.

MicroSD cards with 1TB of storage are on the way
There was a time when microSD cards seemed to be slowly dying. New flagship
releases seemed to drop support for microSD cards a few years ago. However,
microSD cards have made a conditional comeback. These days, most phones
(including flagships) feature microSD expansion with a hybrid SIM/memory
card slot, which means users have to choose between dual SIM capability and
microSD expansion. (Some budget phones do feature a triple slot for both
features, though.) The Samsung Galaxy S10, for example, features a microSD
card slot, although Huawei has moved to a proprietary Nano Memory card
format. In terms of sizes, 512GB microSD cards were the biggest consumers could
get. This changes now as the world's first 1TB microSD cards have been announced.
Micron has announced the C200 1TB microSDXC UHS-I card, which leverages Micron's 96-layer 3D quadlevel cell (QLC)
NAND technology. This card meets the A2 App Performance Class specification, which enhances user experience for
Android Adoptable Storage by enabling apps and games installed on the card to load faster. The Micron C200 1TB
microSD card has a 100MB/ s read and a 95MB/s write performance speeds, which allow it to meet UHS-I Speed Class
3 and Video Speed Class 30 specifications. 4K video recording and burst mode photos should, there-fore, result in no
issues for the card in terms of performance.

Google rolls outAI-powered grammar check tool for Google Docs, G Suite apps
Google has started rolling out its AI powered
grammar check tool within Google Docs and
other G Suite apps. The feature was initially
limited to a few customers but it is now being
made available for all customers, be it Basic,
Business or Enterprise service subscribers.
With the new feature, the G Suite users will start
seeing "inline, contextual grammar suggestions
in their documents as they type", in a similar way
Google's spellcheck already functions. Users
will see a blue line beneath a grammatically
incorrect sentence, according to an official blog
post from the company.
Google worked with linguists to help the machine translation model recognize the rules of grammar, which
differs depending on region, style and language. Through this, Google was able to build the foundation for
grammar suggestions in Docs.
As a result, the AI is trained to help detect simple mistakes such as the proper use of articles "a" and "an"
and more complex grammar lapses such as the proper use of subordinate clause.
