Hearty Congratulations

With the goal of the timely growth and mission of the church in mind, three Achens namely, Rev. Dr. Varghese Mathai, Rev. K. V. Varkey and Rev. Dr. Oommen George were elected to the Episcopal office of the Church by the Sabha Mandalam held at the Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma Auditorium, Tiruvalla, on March 8 and 9, 2011. It is decided to install these three Achens as Rambans of the Church at a solemn service arranged to be conducted at 7.30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the St. Albert’s College grounds, close to the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kaloor, Ernakulam.

Edavaka Annual Convention

God willing this year’s Edavaka Annual Convention will be held from 5th to 8th May. Renowned speaker Evng. John Raju will be the main speaker. We

request all to pray for the success of convention and to come together to listen the word of God. Let us pray for showering His blessings on this year’s

convention. Our Almighty God has kept us and protected us under His wings for the last 48 years in this land and blessed us abundantly. Let us thank God for

providing us to worship and to meet together for the glory of His name. Convention schedule

An appeal by General Secretary, Bible Society of India, Kerala Chapter gained an instant response from the generous members of Kuwait Mar Thoma Parish as they contributed - 2, 03,416.00 to the Bible Society of India during the Fasting prayer service held on 29th April 2011 at Marina Hall Kuwait.

Membership updation All Prayer group officials are requested to return back the membership updation forms on or before 13th May 2011. We request all the members to cooperate with the prayer group officials and do the needful.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) Kuwait Mar Thoma Sunday school is conducting Vacation Bible School (VBS) from June 10th onwards. Over the years VBS was instrumental in bringing the children closer to Jesus and had led many to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. It’s an unique opportunity for the children to learn about religion through fun, age appropriate activities. Also Life lessons help every child learn how to be a good person and a friend to others.
