In addition to English, and Spanish this Sacrament may also be in Italian.

•WEDDINGS/ MATRIMONIO Pre–marital instruction is a requirement for all engaged couples. Consequently, arrangements for weddings should be made SIX MONTHS in advance.

PENTECOST SUNDAY MAY 15, 2016 DOMINGO DE PENTECOSTES 15 DE MAYO, 2016

DOMENICA DI PENTECOSTE 15 DI MAGGIO, 2016

“In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes with inexpressible groanings. And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because he intercedes for the holy ones according to God’s will.” How beautiful and varied are the scripture passages, telling of the coming of the Holy Spirit, its impact on the life of the primitive church, and the effect of the Spirit’s presence in the church today. Regardless of the source, whether the story in the Acts of the Apostles, or the teachings found in St. Paul, all speak of a sweeping change

in the creation of witnesses and the power of God’s presence in the lives of others. Fast forward, and today we find the same Spirit invigorating, animating and directing the church. All change involves some pain, as we like to retain things of the past, but the presence of the spirit allows us to move in uncharted waters. The Pentecost event is a prime example, and today we ask that same Spirit to guide and direct us as we live as missionary disciples in the service of the Lord. Some ask ‘what is in your wallet?’, we ask ‘Where is God’s Spirit leading me?’

“Igualmente, el mismo Espíritu viene en ayuda de nuestra debilidad porque no sabemos orar como es debido; pero es Espíritu intercede por nosotros con gemidos inefables. Y el que sondea los corazones conoce el deseo del Espíritu y sabe que su intercesión en favor de los santos está de acuerdo con la voluntad divina.” Qué hermosos y variados son los pasajes de las escrituras, relatándonos sobre la venida del Espíritu Santo, su impacto en la vida de la temprana iglesia y el efecto de la presencia del Espíritu en la iglesia de hoy. Sin importar la fuente, ya sea la historia en los Hechos de los Apóstoles o las enseñanzas en las cartas de San Pablo, todas hablan de un cambio radical en la creación de testigos y el poder de la presencia de Dios en la vida de otros. Adelantándonos en el tiempo encontramos hoy el mismo Espíritu estimulando, animando y dirigiendo la iglesia. Todos los cambios involucran algún dolor, ya que preferimos adherirnos al pasado, pero la presencia del Espíritu nos permite navegar en aguas inexploradas. El evento de Pentecostés es un excelente ejemplo, y hoy pedimos que el mismo Espíritu nos guíe y dirija mientras vivimos como discípulos misioneros al servicio del Señor. Alguien pregunta: ¿Qué hay en su billetera? Nosotros preguntamos ‘¿A dónde nos dirige el Espíritu de Dios?’

`Lo Spirito Santo è lo Spirito di Cristo ed è la Persona divina che diffonde nel mondo la possibilità di imitare Cristo, dando Cristo al mondo e facendolo vivere in noi. Nell’insegnamento e nell’opera di Cristo, nulla è più essenziale del perdono. Egli ha proclamato il regno futuro del Padre come regno dell’amore misericordioso. Sulla croce, col suo sacrificio perfetto, ha espiato i nostri peccati, facendo così trionfare la misericordia e l’amore mediante - e non contro - la giustizia e l’ordine. Nella sua vittoria pasquale, egli ha portato a compimento ogni cosa. Per questo il Padre si compiace di effondere, per mezzo del Figlio, lo Spirito di

perdono. Nella Chiesa degli apostoli il perdono viene offerto attraverso i sacramenti del battesimo e della riconciliazione e nei gesti della vita cristiana. Dio ha conferito al suo popolo una grande autorità stabilendo che la salvezza fosse concessa agli uomini per mezzo della Chiesa! Ma questa autorità, per essere conforme al senso della Pentecoste, deve sempre essere esercitata con misericordiae con gioia, che sono le caratteristiche di Cristo, che ha sofferto ed è risorto, e che esulta eternamente nello Spirito Santo.

BAPTISM INFORMATION The Sacrament of Baptism is Celebrated

Once a month on Sunday One Sunday in Spanish after the 12:30pm Mass

and One Sunday in English at 2:00PM.

THE NEXT AVAILABLE DATES ARE: May 22nd / June 26th — English Baptisms May 29th / June 12th— Spanish Baptisms

Please come to the Parish office at least one month in advance before planning your child’s baptism.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS

Religious Education Registration for September 2016 will be held from June 6th through June 10th

from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Parish Rectory.

St Vito-Most Holy Trinity. We especially give thanks to our staff, catechists, assistants and to our coordinator Sister Eleazar.

TUITION In order to close the financial

books for the 2015-2016 Religious Education Program, It is asked that parents who have not yet met their financial

obligations to the program pay the final balance as soon as possible. These payments may be

made at the rectory during office hours.

Las Registraciones de Educación Religiosa para Septiembre 2016

serán del 6 al 10 de Junio de 10am a 6pm. En la Rectoría de la Iglesia.

Los requisitos y costos serán anunciados pronto.

Nos gustaría darle las gracias a todos aquellos que nos ayudaron a educar a nuestros jóvenes feligreses

de San Vito-Santísima Trinidad. Agradecemos especialmente a nuestro Personal, Catequista,

Asistentes y a la Coordinadora Hermana Eleazar.

MATRICULA Para poder cerrar el libro de finanzas del programa de Religión 2015-2016, y a la

vez poder empezar las registraciones del próximo año 2016-2017, se les pide a los padres que todavía

tienen un balance del programa que por favor lo hagan lo mas pronto posible. Estos pagos los

pueden hacer en la rectoría de la Iglesia durante el horario regular de oficina.

INFORMACION SOBRE LOS BAUTIZOS El Sacramento de Bautizo solo se

celebrara una vez al mes los domingos. Los Bautizos en Español se llevan acabo

después de la misa de 12:30pm y los bautizos en Ingles a las 2:00pm.

LAS PROXIMAS FECHAS SON: Mayo 22/ Junio 26 - Ingles Mayo 29/ Junio 12 - Español

**Por favor acérquese a la rectoría de la Parroquia por lo menos un mes en
